This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.
This plugin's functionality has been incorporated into Mobs. Please switch to Mobs instead of this one (Mobs is much better anyway :) )
I'm a little confused ...
Can you give me a list of active biomes?
There are 09 biomes since 1.0 if i believe the wiki.
There are 21 biomes when i beliebe bukkit.
Which biomes is Mob Spawns using for it's conditions?
Is Tundra enough to prevent spawning them on ice regions or do i have to list detail informations?
This plugin doesn't spawn anything, it restricts spawns under the conditions you set. So if you want no zombies to spawn at night unless it's raining, or it's between 2 and 5 o'clock realtime, for example, this can be done.
But, I have another plugin to be released later today which handles automatic spawning (and does everything suggested in the comments below and more) and which can be fine-tuned with this plugin.
Yeah spawning mobs following specific rules is more important for me than restricting them.
What i need is the possibility to spawn zombies and skeletons even when it's day, to set the spawning height .. such things.
What i sued a long time was "CustomDifficulty" But the Dev isn't very active or better he's inactive since Nov 12.
Most features work, but i have no good feeling with it :/
That's not possible with this one. Also, this is the third query I've had about something similar so I think I may have not explained it properly :)
This plugin allows you to block spawning of mobs based on the conditions. It's possible to block all natural spawns, for example, or all spawner mobs, but leave mobs spawned by a command. It contains no code to spawn them itself, only cancel the spawn event.
However, as spawning mobs seems to be much more popular than blocking them I'll be starting the next plugin tonight which will do just that and will support spawning nether-mobs in the normal world (if Bukkiti allows it).
What this does is decide which mobs not to spawn, based on conditions. So you can always let zombies spawn except when it's raining, or only spawn zombies when it's raining.
However, if you combine it with another plugin that spawns mobs every so often it would work.

Also, added light_level (0-15) and online_player conditions to the world section of this plugin.
Automatic mob spawner is now up!

So could one spawn creatures like Ghasts & Giants in the overworld with this plugin?
@coldandtired
Excellent. I shall use this to compensate for the lack of mobs on the overworld due to dungeons hogging the mobcount.
@bladedpenguin Indeed it does :)
It's the reasons list in the world section. Possible values and their explanations can be found here.
I think I'm in love. Does this make a distinction between mobs from spawners and natural mobs?
You're the greatest :-)

I thought I found most of them but now I look again they're everywhere! Must have been tired :)
I'll add the lightlevel to both plugins tomorrow.
You need to edit the text, there is a lot reference to your Mob Drops plugin. Deplaciert everything with " died, death, ..." to "spawn" ^^
Could you add the lightlevel where a Mob is allowed to spawn?
ahh i see thanks for clearing that up :P
@Hopium Sorry, it doesn't work that way :)

super creepers during thunderstorms? i think so!! lol and now giants invade every 4 hours!! lol i love the idea, can't wait to test it.
