MineResetLite
I don't maintain MineResetLite any more! :)
If you're looking for a modern fork, check out the one by TeamVK on GitHub.
Or, if you want to get it to work yourself, the original code is available below.
MineResetLite
The must-have tool for any prison server!
MineResetLite is the successor to MineReset, which provides tools to create, reset, and maintain randomly generated mines, such as the mines seen on prison servers.
Features
- Easy to use, easy to understand
- Select mines via WorldEdit or manually
- Easily modify ore percentages
- Automatically broadcast mine reset warnings
- Automatically teleport players out of the mine to prevent suffocation
- Customizable Reset Messages
Internationalization
Fluent in English? I'd appreciate if users could assist in translating the text MRL uses into their native languages.
@icheesy
It's "resetWarnings" with the "s" at the end.
I had installed the original MineReset for a server I'm currently running, but it gave me errors when starting up. So, I switched to this and I like the simplicity. Thanks for carrying the project.
I do have one somewhat serious issue. When I'm near a mine when it is reset, I get disconnected with "end of stream"
botsonik lost connection: disconnect.overflow
It happens every single time without fail. That's all I get from the console, too. Any ideas?
I don't have alot of memory on this laptop, could that be it, and it's just me?
the flag: resetwarning is not working
Can you make it so that it allows you to set at what y level each ore comes out?
@MiachBiatch
I've got an idea on how to implement spam-decreasing messages without the annoying setup that MineReset required. I'll work on that today.
@TheMagicPostman
I had the code, just didn't know the codebase as well as bitWolfy did. The way that best serves the users is for me to rewrite the plugin.
@AlphaFarer
MineReset always had some sort of bug, I'm not aware of coding on any level, but I have afeeling it's becasue of the code being bad? I don't know. Perhaps the manager of MineReset didn't want to share it with jjkoletar either.
As Shurfire said, PLEASE make it possible to link mines to avoid chat spam! :) Great that you made this aswell!
@LaughNgamez
*ahem*
There was a derpy permissions bug in the initial build released, v0.3.0. The warning was added to the file's decription "The initial version of MineResetLite has been released for beta testing. This release is recommended for use by users who have experience using plugins, are OK with potential data loss, and can help development by reporting bugs." This permissions bug has been fixed in 0.3.1. I thank you for your future civility and use of MRL.

DO NOT INSTALL THIS PLUGIN IT ALLOWS PLAYERS TO USE THE RESET
Well if you want, it's ok, but why don't you just remove from MineReset unnecessary features?
@AlphaFarer
I THINK the 'Lite' part in the name means it only uses the essential features from MineReset, and there was a lot of unnecessary features in MineReset.
Wouldn't be easier, just to update original MineReset..? Are you able to do that? Because with old one I get PlayerJoinEvent errors, and players stuck in 1 place.
I love how you're automatically teleported out of the mine, instead of having to make the warp yourself and setting the perm so people can't use it via command
You sir, are awesome. Thanks for keeping up this Essential Plugin!
0.3.1 has been uploaded to BukkitDev for approval.
@CompassCraft
Thanks, that's what I hoped to aim for, hence the Lite.
@TheMagicPostman
Fixed in 0.3.1. (which is pending BukkitDev approval)
@Ikadmin
Whoops, the command for it, /mrl erase, was included in the code but not in the documentation. I updated the command page.
@shurfire
Signs are planned.
@SpaceEmotion
I do hope to include a similar feature in MRL, as WorldGuard currently can't provide by-block protection, but I still need to figure out a non-confusing way to implement it.
Great plugin, but I think having a white- and blacklist would be cool (like the original MineReset :) )
also linking mines to reset together so less spam :D
should have a method to port old Minereset, also the signs with variables are very nice, maybe make it easier like [mineresetl] MINENAME %timeleft%
This will display nothing on 1st line 2nd line the name of the mine you set and 3rd time left until reset, time left can be pushed to 4th line too
@Ikadmin
URG! How do you remove a mine???
Found somewhat of a bug.. Kinda
"Setting the percentage of a block already in the mine will always overwrite the old value in the mine."
Doesn't overwrite, it just adds it on but as a separate value.
