MegaCreeps
A mighty tool that allows to create, modify and replace monsters/bosses with custom attributes, such as:
- Special abilities,
- Maximum hitpoints,
- Potion effects,
- Itemsets,
- Drops,
- Experience drops,
- Mounts
- Attack damage
- Custom strength rating to replace natural spawns
Extended description:
- Supports multiple worlds with own configuration sections for each.
- The item names and lores allow to drop so-called epic-gear and can use unsafe enchantments.
- You can create and edit setups out of the game or edit them in their own .txt files. Creating setups out of the game, you need to have a setup book in the inventory. "/mc" tells you how it has to be set up. Your potioneffects will also apply to the setup with almost infinite duration. If you wish shorter potioneffects to take place, you will have to modify the duration in the .txt file.
- You can replace normally spawning mobs with MegaCreeps. This is further supported, giving you the ability to modify the relation between stronger rated and weaker rated mobs. You can do the rating yourself.
- The plugin comes with a number of basic setups that will always be present. You are free to edit them or take them out of usage by deleteing them from the config.
- The bounty can be modified. You can drop virtually everything. Please note: Not all deathcauses make the MegaCreeps drop their items. Mob traps with such things as lava or pistons fail to get the mob's drops.
- Special abilites can be used. You can look up the currently active abilities for a list.
- There is an API for modders that want to customize the usage.

I found and removed the bug about the handleSpawnEvents. Thank you for the report.
The issue about playerheads is already known, but this is a problem that came with 1.7.9 and the ID update. As far as I know, playerheads do not work as items at the moment. I hope they implement a change here.
Hi Demaggo,
I am using the MegaCreeps API to spawn Bosses in certain dungeons throughout my server. The handleDeathEvent works just fine, after a certain amount of time after a boss dying I am able to spawn it again. But it seems the handleSpawnEvent does not fire after a mob has spawned.
Could you take a look into this?
Another issue I've stumbled upon is that when using server/client 1.7.9 the head meta does not seem to work either. I always see a steve head.

if i am trying to have skeleton riding a bat, would I put mount=skelly on the bat setup, or mount=skellybat on the skelly setup?

I I disabled the standard spawning mobs in world. If setRemoveWhenFarAway to false for the MC mob, then mob despawn, but standart mobs will not be despawn.

That is a bukkit thingy and doesn't work the way you think. If you turn off this flag for a mob, it does not count to limits. If you turn it off for all mobs, you get about 4000 mobs on a world within 30 seconds.

The setup "skellybat" must be loaded to use it. Please make sure you added it to the general list in the config. You cannot colour sheep with this plugin, I'm sorry.
Now when I spawn my custom skeleton it says could not set mount "skellybat" I typed it case sensitive and all but it didn't work
is there a way to color custom sheep?

The pure creation of a mob at a location is not being done this plugin. It can replace even mobs spawned by other plugins or commands though. With a little bit of config editing, you can also have normal mobs as well as rare bosses spawning.
Does this plugin just replace mobs with custom ones, or can it spawn in standalone custom mobs? IE, all natural mobs spawn as well as some custom ones, like a boss.

You may have messed the spelling in the mount name, it's case sensitive. If a setup contains errors, it's not being added to avoid half functional mobs. If the mount is a megacreep as well, make sure that it is loaded each time, so add it to the config.
my mounts don't work, I put mount=skeletonking to have my custom mob flying on a bat but when I go to spawn the bat in game it says its not added even though I just added it. I looked in the console and it said something about the mount and then said it isn't added. Please Help
