LoreLocks
LoreLocks is a plugin which allows you to physically secure your chests with chest locks and traps.

Locks
Locks come in 6 difficulties, 1-5 change the cylinder count of the lock and the 6th difficulty makes the lock unpickable, or in other words only the person which has the key can open the lock.
To create a key of a lock simply drop a lockpick on it.
Depending on the difficulty locks have a different amount of cylinders
- Difficulty 1 has 3 cylinders
- Difficulty 2 has 4 cylinders
- Difficulty 3 has 5 cylinders
- Difficulty 4 has 6 cylinders
- Difficulty 5 has 7 cylinders
Then place it in the first slot of the chest (upper left slot) to lock the chest. Make sure to create a key by dropping a lockpick onto the lock before locking the chest if you want to avoid picking your own chest every time.
If you forget to create a key from an unpickable lock ask an admin for help, he can bypass the lock and open the chest for you.
Traps
Traps are items which will secure your chest even more, to add a trap to a chest place it in the second slot, right next to the lock.
They are triggered when a player fails to pick the chest, i.E. whenever he clicks the wrong cylinder and the lock gets reset.
Types of traps
The damage trap
Damage traps damage the player which is trying to pick the lock every time he fails to pick the right cylinder. Power determines the amount of hearts (not half hearts) which are taken away.
The explosive trap
Explosive traps create an explosion on the location of the player failing to pick the lock. The explosion does not damage any blocks. For the power of explosive traps check this wiki article.
The poison trap
Poison traps apply the poison potion effect to the player failing, the power attribute determines the level of the poison effect.
The power attribute ranges from 1-127.

Hi, i found out you can put a hopper underneath the chest to suck the lock out. also works with master lock, i dont think you want that to happen. i have some other suggestions: - better permissions - a command to spawn locks (and lock picks) great plugin btw!

Rightclick on an unlocked door with your lock to lock it.
You can retrieve the lock when destroying the door when it is opened.
Currently the door is still openable by redstone but I'll fix this (most likely) in the next release.
I keep seeing people mentioning doors. How do I use this to lock a door?

i use the same key when creating a new key so i use the same key in all locks
Would there be anyways to condense the keys into a single key? Having a chest full of keys is neat to look at, but when it comes to picking the right one to open a door or a specific lock it becomes a game in its self.
Idea.... What if you could make multiple locks with the same signature. So that just 1 key will be the defining factor. So all through your house just 1 key will open your chests if you wish, or your doors too.

You can configure your own when creating the locks, you can also make different permissions for each individual lock ;)
Are there permissions for making locks? If so, I can't seem to find them on here, could you maybe list them for me?
This is probably a stretch, but can I make a huge, optional suggestion for re-coding how keys work?
I just find the system of having a key for every lock, though intuitive and original, to be a bit tedious. Could there maybe be a way where you type a command similar to "/LLock [Level]" (For "LoreLock", since LWC uses the "/lock" command already), and it will charge a configurable fee, and the door/chest would then be locked with the lock level specified. From there, the person who locked it would be able to use a command like "/LLock allow [IGN]", and they would be able to allow people through their locked door.
I understand this would be a massive change, so I don't personally think it's likely, but I'm going to ask anyway. If possible, I was wondering if the config could be made to toggle between either "Keys" or "No keys", and there would be a separate config file for each mode.

Could you make so you can put lock picks with a command instead of iron ingots? Because, right now , the plugin doesn't seems to work with random items in a chest plugins like pathloot.
Also can you add a permission or something so players can't get the lock after lockpicking the chest?
The plugin is amazing but without those features I mention is useless for me.

I started working on a pickpocketing plugin before I moved but didn't worked on it any further yet. When my internet connection is back (hopefully at the end of the week) I'll start implementing the fixes and minor features for LoreLocks and then I can start working on other plugins like the pickpocketing plugin :)

Adding Traps and Locks to dispensers and droppers is already on my to-do list.

You can already. It is no global permission, instead you can give the permissions per lock, so you can make different lock strengths available to different users/groups/ranks/classes/etc.
Can you add lock creation permission, I really love the idea of this plugin, but I can't use it unless I can control who can and can't make locks. Thanks :)
