I never thought about that. At present, no. Is there any way to expand the height limit of WorldBorder? I can try and tweak it so it avoids that issue.
Awesome plugin. Love how I can make my cannon look however I want... nice and simple. I do have a suggestion though. I'm using WorldBorder to control my borders, and when I get launched it's launching me over to over 400 blocks high, which WorldBorder regards as out of bounds. Anyway to control the height of the launch?

Great plugin. For those wanting some sort of pretty cannon created for them, I disagree. This plugin is exactly what I would want: it does the part I can't easily do myself. Leave the creative cannon constructions to us!
FYI your YouTube video was very helpful. If you edited the video such that the first 15 seconds show the final result (launching/landing), then the video continues on into the full detail, I would post that video front and center in the description here!
One bug (I think) - there doesn't seem to be anything stopping players from destroying the cannons built by admins. When I de-opped myself, I found I could still simply destroy the blocks, thus disabling the cannon, or cover them up with other blocks to hide it. :\
Hey some ideas.
- Your picture implies that that really cool cannon will be created for you. Actually creating a nice-looking cannon will require a lot of work, especially if you want to make lots of them.
- Suggest switching to a /createcannon command which actually generates a recognizable cannon would be very cool. It could even include a sign instructing players to use /launch and telling them where they will land. If you'd like to do this, you can find some sample code in my PopulationDensity project's repository. I have a method AddRegionPost() which clears an area, then fills it with a specific build.
- Upon cannon creation, why not check the landing area for water, and if it's not there, automatically create the landing pad? You'd save us a lot of trouble I think, because any land destination will require a pad (otherwise players will be very upset that admins effectively killed them).
- Would be nice to get a confirmation message on successful cannon or launchpad creation.
- Would be nice to get an error message if we try to use /launch where there's no cannon ("oops, there's no cannon here!")
I hope you won't take offense at this feedback - you call out a lack of commands as a positive point for your plugin, which I agree is generally a good thing. But you do have commands for end users, and don't you agree that a command like /addcannon or /addlandingpad is easier than:

Care to add some Spout integration so we can do some neat stuff? Like have a little text prompt appear with a yes/no or something. So as not to ruin the immersion? Like maybe click a button or something. Or red stone activation? Or something that would make real-world sense. Otherwise very nice job!

Jesus, sorry I didn't see you respond, i hate not being notified of new posts. If your adding config's I'd make it just one material, not all material, As that would seem a broader approach as every server can set it up how they need. Not sure tho. I will be testing this tonight. ^^

Fairly true, however, immediately was used in the sense of "as soon as I check my mail" whereas I'm on Skype 90% of the time.

I've discovered the issue with another user, I'm working on a fix now, it should work as of v1.3.5.

The booting is actually a spout issue, it is a lot more sensitive to volocity,
you'd have to bring it up with them.Apparently it SHOULD be fixed in 517 of the spout server plugin, which currently is a development build.

Bobeeb, do you have any error logs from your console? I can take a look at it if you want, to try and see what the error is. Also, I'm free to join your server, I can take a closer look at what's going wrong. Every bit of this helps me improve the plugin for others, so please, let me! :)
thnx for fixing the java loading bug, the new version is working with fly ebnable all is fine with the spoutcraft client the players still get kicked i don't know if its the spout client or plugin fault and we got some problems with multiple launching players when they are still in the air and another player launch the cannon went offline, only a new sign brings the cannon back online hope this helps

I think its time for you to make a config ;) an option I would suggest Autolaunch: true ! or tie in to spout so jumping off the cannon block launches the player automatically were past the time of commands :)
Edit: You definately need to slow the action down still getting a boot for launching. The launch doesnt have to be lightning speed a nice slow ride would be enjoyable

I believe that is a problem with flying disabled, try enabling flying? Or is it a speed-based kick? Enabling flying should fix that problem.
Okay your latest version loads up fine good job :) Now if you can get around the server kicks for moving too quickly i would like to see some air time. upon /launch or /fire it immediately kicks me from server even with admin/op status with or without nocheat active... Good luck !
