APRIL 17, 2013 UPDATE

recomment: How about /gsethome and /ghome commands? they are not working ;) and /gu powers hometele is a little bit too long ;(

I don't know what you're talking about.
I have tested what you have said against this, and the new release that's in the irc.
Pressing U does nothing. Not in game, nor in the console.

You get the picture I'm not happy and I sure don't want people pressing it accidentally and spamming my server's chat with that, please consider fixing it
I didn't exactly like something this plugin posted in my chat :(. I recomend you not press the U key on your keyboard
would b nice if u simplify guild home command... /ghome /gsethome not working, and typing "/gu powers hometeleport" is kinda long ;)

Yea... I am in the same boat as you.
But, I feel this will come to a screeching halt. One of his dev's ditched him and he started a new job.
So, I have my server ready for the change to Kingdoms, for now, i installed SimpleClans and we use griefprevention until this starts again.
It feels, like more and more people are losing interest in bukkit. Online server population is down as well.
I wanted to ask, imagin, i want my players not to have more then 100 chunks a guild claimed. But they CAN have more then 100 power to for instance make me able to claim more chuncks for them if i want to. So i can claim 125 chuncks for them but they cant claim more then 100 altough there power is 125.

Hey, I don't mean to sound like I'm pushing for an update, but I really gotta know if you guys intend on continuing the great work on this project. My server is having a huge opening patch/update on the same day that 1.5 is available. If you guys aren't able to continue with this awesome project, I need to know so that I can find something that (won't be nearly as awesome as this, but will work, and) will definitely be updated for 1.5.
I seriously hope the name thing hasn't majorly affected the plugin. I know that it could be much more difficult now, BUT this opens up a huge doorway for the project. Guilds can STILL be in it. Kingdoms could be like the metaphorical home that Guilds lives in, leaving room for other parts to a bigger plugin, in other words:
Kingdoms is now the name of the plugin, it doesn't have to make you re-do everything, you can simply have guilds be a part of the kingdoms plugin. By the name, it seems like this is meant for adding RP/RPG/Survival aspects to the servers that use it. Simply have Guilds be one of those aspects, and add other parts like perhaps actual kingdoms which could be home to multiple guilds (where war is impossible in the kingdom), and/or war-zones, and/or classes (which are players better with certain weapons/tools/abilities like mining, farming, fishing, etc). The possibilities are endless!
For an even clearer picture of what I'm talking about:
This way, you don't need to try and come up with how to make all of the guilds commands sound like kingdoms commands, and are much more easily able to continue the great plugin :D

You could use a plugin called PlugMan (stands for Plugin Manager) which I've found to be very useful. It allows you to disable, enable, and reload plugins without needing to restart the server.
is there a reload command or do I have to /reload or restart my server each time I edit the configs? also when will the next version be released? :)

If you could just make this plugin respect world guard claims, then everything would be peachy.
I think that would be MUCH easier that what I had typed here before lol.

type what you want. I bet, you're typing it all together like i did. /gu setmotd something here. But, you don't. It's two separate command lines.
I would love to see 1 thing added to this ASAP. Safezone areas, sort of like Factions has that claims that land and makes it so that no one can be hurt in that area or destroy things. I am solve the pvp and the breaking issue with world guard but I am sure you know that there are idiots out there that like to do things and be spiteful just because they can.
Other then that, this plugin is amazing and a game changer!

You should add a outpost command like towny, a group of guilds(something like a nation), command to sell your guild land as private plots to residents(ungreifable except war). I think if you add this many people will use this instead of towny or factions. If guilds gets the above 3 things, i think it will be perfect! :D

By the sounds of it, you need to enable the land-claiming feature in one of the config files.
