Important News

I am updating InfoManager to V2.0 as we speak. In this update I am changing the inner workings of a few parts of the plugins, trying to set up a few new and better features that it didn't have before, and make it an overall better plugin.

I have noticed that InfoManager is one of the most complete server information plugins of its kind out there, providing links that anyone could want and the ability to request more, as well as constant support, so I'm trying to make it as user-friendly as possible.

Planned 2.0 Changes:

• New Config.yml organization
• New Votelist command (going to be done in an inefficient way modeled after /staff until I can figure out a better way)
• Ability to set values from in-game commands
• Ability to reload configs and the plugin as a whole
• A few more infomational commands like /ip and the long-forgotten /birthday
• Adding signs to the ways you can get server information
• Changing of InfoManager from one single jar file to a modular system to allow greater customization
• Changing of the description page here from WikiCreole to SafeHTML to allow greater customization on my part

Overview

InfoManager is your one-stop collaboration plugin for all server-end Admin needs! It not only stores information such as important server links, but can also store staff lists or descriptions, and is being worked on to support server announcements and MOTD management as well!

It aims to cut down the amount of plugins that a server is loading by doing what many plugins together could do. And the best part? It's all toggleable, so you only use what you want to use!

• Server website listing
• Server donation/store link listing
• Lists the server's staff ranks and info/lists about them
• "Social Media" links for Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Google+
• Planet Minecraft link command (Just so you can get diamonds, as those ARE different from votes)
• Can show a contact email for users to send emails to owners/admins
• Staff listings with customizable amount and color!
• Supports the Notifications plugin!

Recent Changes

• config.yml is now settings.yml and now shows the comment lines again
• The /staff command crap is now in its own file, called Staff.yml
• New aliases for almost every damn command
• New permissions InfoManager.admin and InfoManager.info
• Totally redid /im command, and am working on editing config values from in-game
• The config files are now super sexy and make the plugin feel really easy to use
• Added Notifications support

To Do

• Add a .txt reading function
• Add an update feature
• Refine Notifications integration
• Finish the votelinks command to show individual links

Under Work

• Fixing errors when not using Notifications plugin (100%)
• Trying to create an infinite amount of possibilities for the votelist command (10%)
• Setting config values from in-game (30%)
• Safeguarding against any form of accidental file corruption/messups (10%)
• Adding a few more informational commands (0%)
• Adding reload commands for each file (0%)
• Fully migrate plugin to work off of config.yml (100%)
