Hit Bounty
Have you ever wanted to place bounties on players, and sadistically watch as players battle your poor victim? If so, then Hit is perfect for you! Hit is a lightweight plugin created solely to add a fun PvP implementation into Minecraft!
This plugin requires Vault.
How it Works
The plugin's mechanics are very simple. A player executes the hit command, and whoever kills the player put on bounty will receive the amount of money he was put up on bounty for, and the player who put the victim on bounty will lose that amount of money!
Commands:
- /hit [player] [price] : Puts the specified player on bounty for the specified price!
Permissions:
- hit.hit : Permission to put players on bounty!
TO DO:
- Tons of configuration options!
If you have suggestions, please leave them in the comments.
If you find bugs, please leave a support ticket with information.
Expect Hit v1.1 early June with some of the features on the TO DO list implemented.

Thank you very much for making this! Hard to come by plugins that offer what you want. I had an idea for this though. Could you add a node like for example hit.notify so that when a hit is placed the player with the node is notified of a new hit? Also could you add a node that enables people to complete hits. Lets say hit.receive so only people with the node actually get paid for completing hits? Thank you for considering my ideas and thank you very much again for making this!
I' looking forward to see how this plugin will evolve.
As Dragonkin01 mentioned it needs some commands to see who has a bounbnty on his head.
Besides a hitlist command it would be great if players could add to the bounty. So if you add the list command players can see the total amount on a players head but also all names behind the bounty.
If for ex. Player1 sets a bounty of 50$ on Player3 and Player2 also sets a bounty of 50$ on Player3 then a list-command should show that Player3 has a price on his head of 100$ set by Player1 and Player2.
@Dragonkin01
I was planning on adding the list feature and will do so in the next update. Also, I will most likely add the hidden name feature in the configuration.
Uhm, well how about a command like /hit list so players can see all the current bounties offered? And a toggleable option to hide/reveal the name of who placed the bounty? Just a couple thoughts. This looks like a very nice plugin so far. I prefer lightweight and simple plugins. ^_^
@ThunderWaffeMC
Took your advice :)
Great plugin and have been looking for one like this. You should really change the name so it's easier to search. Something like "HitMe Bounty" so if I typed up "bounty" I can find it.
@Taybosquee
Well, as of right now, if the withdrawal and deposit are not successful, meaning something is not right, then the entire transaction will be cancelled. I will be working on a more efficient way of doing this.
"Have you ever wanted to place bounties on players, and sadistically watch as players battle your poor victim?" Why yes, yes I have. :>
What happens if the player posting the hit does not have enough money to back it? I ask because the description says the money is taken after the target is killed.
Would love to put this one my server if: Had a locate feature (Locate within certain block radius) Had a list feature (People can see who to hit) Had an accept feature (Someone has to be the designated killer) Was pay first, and recieve once target is killed. Put that in, and this'll be right in there! I'll keep an eye on this, due to the failing of HeroBounty.
@SonarBeserk
Vault will stop these transactions from occurring.
@Compressions
What happens if the person who ordered the hit cant afford it?
@tehunknown
When the hit is fulfilled.
is the money deducted when the hit is placed or when it is fulfilled?
@Zandelynne
Absolutely.
can players make bounties on other players that deduct from their money when the bounty is fulfilled?
