Highlights
Highlights
Description:
Highlights is a light-weight plugin that highlights the names of players in the chat to help players see their names easier when another player is talking to them.
Features:
- Highlights player usernames or nicknames in chat
- Configurable highlight colors
Bugs:
- None that I know of
NOTE:
Nickname highlights do not work with EssentialsChat installed, but regular usernames should.
Really good plugin, but is there any way you could make it so there is an option for it to only appear for the player mentioned to see their name in colour? Also, adding on to what I just said, could you add maybe a sound effect?
These are just my suggestions. Feel free to turn them down.
Idk why but this plugin does not work for me, is it due to EssentialsChat?
Essentials Chat does not fiddle or interfere with this plugin in anyways.
@ravand
I am going to release one in about three days.
I like this plugin but what i really want to have is a partial name highlighter for example if 4 letters of the name are matching or more.
i love this plugin, however it shows up people who are vanished. ie VanishNopacket.
Is it possible to disable highlight for vanished people?
@alf980103 This plugin was made because of a request on the forums, so I don't really think I'll be adding any more features unless it gets requested by multiple people. I will only be updating it when needed.
@flyingtacoz There is not a single bit of code in this plugin that would do that. Sorry that happened to you but it shouldn't have anything to do with this plugin.
If you spend a lot of time working on a config it would be a good idea to back it up in case anything like that ever happens.
This plugin just overwrote my essentials config!! I thought it was my fault at first but after re-installing and looking in my essentials folder if I mistakenly place the .jar in there, it did the same. Tons of time spent making kits, and configuring specs to fit my need, gone. Thanks man!
Still gonna use this plugin though, I suggest trying it yourself and see if it tries to overwrite your config, if not then I apologize and I'm an idiot.
Nice plugin, i love it :D PD: You could add this? appears @user Example: <alf> Hi dk <alf> Hi @dk
@Aangiix3 That would be nice but as far as I know the only way that would be possible is if the plugin had it's own chat system which would cause compatibility issues with other plugins so it's not worth it.
