Usage

GB.Storagizer has a completely slash-command free configuration, except for the above mentioned command when removing an existing storagizer.

Setting up a storagizer

To set up a storagizer, you need two things, a chest (can be a regular or large chest), and a sign.

Place the chest where you want this storagizers master chest (the chest that you put items you want put into storage in), and place a sign next to this chest. (Can be beside it, over it, below it, as long as it is the block right next to the chest)

Write the following on the sign

  1. [gbstoragizer]
  2. NAME

NAME can be any, unique, name for the storagizer, and is simply used as a reference. (If you select a name that is already in use, a random name will be generated and used)

Leave line 3 and 4 blank.

Configuring a storagizer

Now that you have set up the storagizer, its time to add item destinations for the items you wish the storagizer to process.

Go into sneak-mode (hold down shift), and right-click the storagizer sign, this will put the storagizer into CONFIG mode.

Now you need to take the itemtype you want to sort into your hand and left-click the chest where you want this itemtype sorted to, a message will appear in the chat window that you have configured the chest as a destination.

You can have multiple chests set as a destination for a given itemtype, for instance, sorting dirt into multiple chest will put it into the second one when the first is full and so on.

A chest can be destination for as many itemtypes as you'd like.

To check what items are sorted into a given chest, shift-right-click the chest and a list will be printed in the chat window.

To leave CONFIG mode, sneak-right-click the storagizer controller sign once more. (Note, CONFIG mode will end automatically config.configurationTimeout seconds after the last configuration action, default, 60 seconds)

Using a storagizer

You have setup a storagizer and added some sorting rules, now for the last part, the actual sorting.

Put some items of the types you just defined into the master chest, and then enter sneak mode (hold down shift), and left-click the storagizer sign, this will sort all the itemtypes that have rules setup (and space in their destination chests) to their respective chests.

There is a small delay after using a storagizer before you can activate it again, defined by config.minimumTimeBetweenStoragizings, default 10 seconds.

Removing a storagizer

If you want to remove an existing storagizer, you need to use the /gbstoragizer removestoragizer command, as neither the controller sign, the block they are attached to or chests that are part of a storagizer can be removed by conventional means.
