FrogAnnounce
FrogAnnounce
An auto-messaging/auto-announcement/announcer/thing system for your minecraft server.
Bukkit version doesn't matter for this plugin. Please don't ask me to update it for that reason.
Description
Okay, so here's my first plugin which I've actually released that isn't amazingly small-scale. It's a fairly simple plugin which relays messages, at the rate in minutes, set in the configuration. It allows for colours, multi-line messages, message cycling, and message shuffling. I made this because I've seen a few plugins like this, but they're either out-of-date and don't work, or they just don't work, period. From thereabouts comes this plugin, FrogAnnounce. I know the name is lame; I'm not creative with names, sorry.FrogAnnounce 2.0.1: Review By: UltiByte

- Any suggestions are welcome.
Junking the rewrite. I'll just revise the code. Too many problems from writing code at 6am.
@mrchasez
That's still weird. Looking into this.
@TheLunarFrog
I was wrong...They are maybe a 2/3 mins off, I miss judged
@mrchasez
Err... What? I'll look into this.
@TheLunarFrog
Also, The timing is way off. We are getting 20TPS, and i have announcements for 2Mins but they seem to come every 7/10
EDIT: Nevermind, They are maybe a 2/3 mins off, I miss judged
@mrchasez Well, the reason it's broken is because it's a beta build - it's also a rewrite of the plugin. It'll be expanding a lot over the next couple of days.
Yeah, Damnit. Just used /fa announce after a clear stop, and start. It loads up perfectly, but now it don't do anything!
What do i do ;P Was working perfectly before i added like three new announcements lol
Yes, I just used /fa broadcast and it just repeated /fa to me in chat. Ill try stopping and starting, maybe reload is broke?
@TheLunarFrog
Ok i did that. Then in console fa reload got this error: http://pastie.org/4780363
I did however, use a third party plugin to reload it, which seemed to work correctly. However when i typed /frogannounce ingame, It just repeated to me /frogannounce like there was nothing there, and the command was broke.
Now im not sure if its sending any announcements It appears to have loaded though: http://pastie.org/4780374
@mrchasez
Three things: first: the error is not your fault. I will fix the code and my jenkins should build it within 15 minutes.
Second: - "&6;[KINGSCRAFT] &1;The longer you play, The higher rank you are! /ar check Is missing a quotation mark on the end.
Third: - "&6;[KINGSCRAFT] &3;Providing High Quality Gaming since 2010 Is too.
Edit: - "&6;[KINGSCRAFT] &4;Server Saves Severy Shour, Sexpect Short Slag" You're saving severy shour, and sexpecting a short slag?
@TheLunarFrog
I made a chance to my config, and i keep getting this error: http://pastie.org/4780330
Config: http://pastie.org/4780341
Please respond asap ;P
Added jenkins server.
Worked for me when I left. Works now anyways.
@marvinej
I can get it to work. I've done it on other pages. Just paste in this code onto the page where you want the video (on a new line) and it will be embedded there.
"<<youtube qfEAfT8kqxU>> \\\\"
Obviously without the quotes. That will embed our video (supposing you're using WikiCreole as the Markup type) onto the page.
@TheLunarFrog the logs say u wrote it in wrong in the first place http:dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/frogannounce/pages/main/compare-r62-r63/
It worked when I left. Then marvinej decided to change stuff and broke it.
Fixed it again.
@UltiByte
This is true. I have been playing with it for like 15 mins and i still cant get it to work. Its making me feel like Dev Bukkit is intentionally redirecting it. Though i do have a video over on lagmeter that works fine so im not sure whats going on here. I will play with this some more and if i cant get it to work maybe lunar can figure it out.
If you would like to do a review of lagmeter feel free to do so.
@TheLunarFrog
Thank you :D
By the way, the link of "a nice video about it", just links straight back to this page seemingly, just to point out :P
Also, would you be interested in us making a video of your LagMeter plugin? It looks really nice :P
@UltiByte
Thanks! I'll add it to the plugin description.
Hello!
We thought your plugin was so awesome, we decided to make a video about it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qfEAfT8kqxU
Feel free to use it how you like :P
