FLockClient is a small and simple tool to force players to use the server defined .jar, It might be useful to modded server and also can work to prevent hacked clients, forcing all the players to use a clean .jar. A client-side modification is required.

Permissions

Commands
- /lc ban - Ban the player MAC address
- /lc unban - unBan the player MAC address
- /lc info - Show information about a client
- /lc list - List players using any authorized client
- /lc reload - Reload the configuration
- /lc unex - Re-enable the anti-cheat protection
Attention
This plugin is made to work with a client mode that is available here, if you don't use the mod, the server will not recognise you!
Know Bugs
- Sometimes the kick message will not be properly shown, this is not related to FLockClient.
- Let me know if you find any!
i'm trying to make a reverse engineering (with permission of Furmiga, obvisioly) with client and server, but is still in the beggining =X

Thank you,sir. I want to use this plugin to block the players who don't past the server side verify (the files verify) , also a good solution for not-honest players using hacks or something illegal additives.
FlockClient itself does not distribute anything, so it does not go against any TOS... Its the server admin that is responsible for not distributing protected files. FC is just the tool.
An alternative to FC should be up soon. I am shooting to have it ready by the end of this weekend.
a little question
how did you deal with minecraft tos that forbids 3rd party files redistribution?
please somebody take the project, post a 1.6.x patch or post some similar mod soon :(

i have specific content on my server accessable with modded client, i want to block incompatible clients (and hacked ones)
can anyone post some patched version for 1.6.4 ??
knows anyone another tool to force specific clients ?? (send minecraft.jar hash/checksum and server rejects/allows connection) ...

wasnt an easy decision but I think is the right one, the only thing i have from my computrr right now is the hard drive, I still need to figure out how i'll take the sources from there, I need to buy one of those sata to usb thingy but i dont have money right now, anyway, i'll be away for quite some time, I just moved to another state and nor even found a house or job yet.

forge has an api to change the name of classes among other things, I dont know if there is a list of names to be renamed or if the mod can change to whatever they want, but is not really guessing since I'll have an object to retrieve the name from, is actually even better than using the class name itself.
i have no idea of programming.. but you have to guess the name? Isn´t there a list of all the classes of forge? But o.k., take the time you need. It´s good to hear that it goes on.. now - for me - a few day don´t matter.

well, I had some problems with forge, since the mod is now "universal", I mean, we wont be having one version for forge, other to vanilla and so on, this mod is now supposed to work on any kind of mod the player previously had installed, to do so, I need to use the name of the class, but since forge can change the name of the class, I'll need to "guess" the name, which is not impossible and not hard to do, just a few hours of work. just letting everyone know :)
If nothing goes wrong, I'll send the files today.
nice to hear from you, Furmiga :) I don´t understand the problem with the staff... why can´t you give them the ability to unpack you code.. for proving ist?
