quicksand.sign - Create Join Signs!
First you want to build an arena. A good size arena has a few different levels, but yours can have as many as you want. Your arena floor must consist of 2 layers: a layer of tnt, and a layer of sand or gravel on top. Make two or three more layers under the first one until you think your players will be satisfied with what you've made. When your arena is complete, add a layer of water under your bottom layer. When players fall in water, their game is over and they lose. After that is done, go to the top layer and run command /qs setspawn. This is where players will spawn when the game starts. To set the place where players go before and after the game, use command /qs setlobby. Now you're good to go! Use a Join Sign or use the join command to play the game! After the winner is announced, the arena will regenerate itself so you can play again! Happy running!
What is it?
Quicksand is a unique plugin based off of the popular minigame TNTRUN. The goal of the game is to run across a layer of sand and gravel without falling through the holes that appear. When players move, the blocks under them disappear - creating hazards in the arena floor. If a player falls through a hole, they move on to the next layer. The game continues until they fall through the last layer and into a pool of water. When players hit water, their game is over and they are taken out of the arena. The last player still playing is the winner!You may have seen people like SkyDoesMinecraft play TNTRUN, and now YOU can join in on the fun! quicksand.sign - Create Join Signs!
Join Signs
If you don't want your players using /qs join to join the game, you can use Join Signs. To make one, simply place a sign and make the first line say [Quicksand]. Second line should be the name of the arena you want players to join. Next, simply leave all other lines blank. You'll need permission quicksand.sign to make a Join Sign though. Your players don't need anything to use them.Setting up the game

Add Gravel Please!!!!!!!
@FireBreath15
Please take into account my recommendations
Could you add where there are multiply arenas
I am having this lag problem too and its making it unplayable after a min or two in.
Specs:
Intel i3 3.4 GHz
2 X 1TB SATA2 Raid
8 GB Ram (512mb alone for it)
v1.2.5 is working fine. thx for yout death command. and its what i guessed its not working with multiworlds (multiverse) the join sign (or the player that use /qs join) has to be in the same world where the arena is.
Quicksand shouldn't cause too much lag if youre using a good machine. The more ram you have and the better your graphics card, the better the game will play. I don't lag when i play it on my server [McCubeCraft.us.to] but some players do because their machines arent too great. I AM working on a way to reduce lag but its a tricky puzzle.
Later!
Looks promising :3, I will test this out tomorrow :D
@Danielh112
We have got over 40Plugins and 5GB and it dont lagg... Witch hoster?
Does this plugin cause a lot of lag (require a lot of ram?)
@KrustyLv
Uninstall and reinstall the plugin. It may just be a bad copy you have.
@tctguitarman
try using a plugin like GroupManager for permissions.
Umm my arena doesnt work in v1.2.2.1 ;D Players joins arena but sand is not disapiering.
I'm loving how simple this plug-in is and helpful to my server! I've been trying to get TNT Run working for awhile and I've finally found a good plugin :D Uno problemo, though.
I've added all the permissions to both admins and default players in my server's permissions.yml file and whenever I try to join a game using /qs join or /quicksand join, I get the error 'You don't have permission!' when I'm both opped and deopped.
I've tried changing the permissions.yml and restarting the server quite a few times now and I've had no luck. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
I know I'm not the only person with this problem and I hope you can fix it for us all :)
I have few ideas.
@I9hdkill
Well version 1.2.2.1 isn't available yet. What I suggest is uninstall your copy and when v1.2.2.1 comes out, reinstall and resetup. That should fix your problems
@FireBreath15
they join through signs or /qs join same error.
Can you set an config option for when the game starts?
@I9hdkill
possibly
@I9hdkill
Its best if you don't use teleports. Just have your players use join signs or the command :)
