ExplodingAnimals
Ever wanted to scare your players and turn every animal into a pseudo-creeper? Now, you can!
ExplodingAnimals is a fun, extremely lightweight plugin that results in a very different action occurring when an animal dies - with explosive results! You can choose exactly how explosive you want the animals to be (higher values not recommended, especially on larger servers), and exactly which animals you'd like to self-destruct. Watch with amusement as the duck your friend just killed created an explosion the size of a stack on TNT. Get ExplodingAnimals today!
Configuration
- ExplosionDamage:10 - This is the amount of damage the explosion will deal, or the 'power'. 4 is the equivalent of a single block of TNT.
- EnableFire:false - Flag indicating whether surrounding blocks can be set on fire (if this is set to true, it is not a guarantee they will be.
- EnableChickenExplosion:true - Flag indicating whether chickens will explode on death. Set to true to pay homage to the inspiration of this plugin.
- EnableCowExplosion:false - Flag indicating whether cows will explode on death.
- EnableMushroomCowExplosion:false - Flag indicating whether mushroom cows will explode on death.
- EnableOcelotExplosion:false - Flag indicating whether ocelots will explode on death.
- EnablePigExplosion:false - Flag indicating whether pigs will explode on death.
- EnableSheepExplosion:false - Flag indicating whether sheep will explode on death.
- EnableWolfExplosion:false - Flag indicating whether wolves will explode on death.
Inspired by firecopy (who also wrote a similar plugin - ExplodingChickens - recommended if you'd just like very destructive chickens without the possible hassle of other animals).
This looks outdated.. I have a similar plugins.. also called ExplodingAnimals.. just found this one :P If your still wanting it I have made a version which is updated.. I never knew this version existed

chuckles players on my server will be getting a BIG surprise! i would like to ask, could you add a explosion range? i want an animal to create a MASSIVE explosion!!!!! (which will then be healed by CreeperHeal)
Thank you for implementing those changes. However, the plugin is not working properly. I am using the latest RB and Exploding Animals 0.9.3. When I go to kill an ocelot, I get this error in console:

I actually implemented exploding Squids in one of the beta tests but as they're a WaterMob rather than an Animal I chose not to exclude them - however, that's going by bukkit, not common sense, so I guess I could make an exception :p
You should apply the option for it to be chance based as well. This way people you can extend people's confusion.

Hi, I run the server at r/beadick. I would like to put forward 2 suggestion:
1. As mentioned before, configurable chance of explosion
2. Exploding squids

Or a way to make it not damage terrain, like WorldGuard can do for creepersssssssssssssssssssssss
a explode-chance would be nice (for example 1%) so it is really a suprise for the player, when a animal explode.
It would be nice, when optional only the explosion-animation and sound would be played, but no explosiv-damage to player, animals or enviroment would happen.
