Important information on this project in light of recent events.

If EchoPet is not loading on your Spigot 1.8 build and your server is outputting "Skipping loading of EchoPet as it does not work with Spigot 1.8 builds!", please try running a later Spigot patch. I can't do anything about older Spigot releases blacklisting the plugin (preventing it from loading).
The future of this plugin is still being determined.
Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.
EchoPet is a simple Donator Perk plugin designed to add Pets that follow players around on their adventures throughout Minecraft. All Pets are custom entities spawned and controlled by the plugin.

EchoPet comes with an auto-updater to save you, as a server owner, from continually checking this page for new files. It simply connects to dev.bukkit.org and compares the versions of available files. If you do not wish for EchoPet to perform this check, navigate to the Configuration File (config.yml) in the EchoPet directory of your plugins folder and change "checkForUpdates" and "autoUpdate" to "false". The first value disables the version comparison altogether and the second updates the plugin automatically if new files are detected.
Metrics is used to collect plugin statistics. Only data such as plugin version and players online is collected. If you do not wish for this data to be collected, disable it in the 'Plugin Metrics' folder of your 'plugins' directory.
How many pets can each player have? I hope only one lol.. Wouldn't want people with 100 pets just walking around..
You will add the wither and the enderdragon in the future? :)

EchoPet is not updated for 1.5 yet. I have said this so many times in the past...
Got this error. It doesn't seem to affect anything, unless it's the reason that pets (other than the blaze) don't follow you:

Please add a command for admin to spawn a pet for a player.
When 1.5 bukkit is released, could you add mob name compatibility? It would be to give the player the ability to give their pet a custom name that show as a configured color (so it's easier to distinguish between friendly pets and actual monsters.

For sure using this once 1.5 is up and running and its not broken for it.

reliez i meant that its can be cool if he will disable the option to dye a sheep pet then youll be able to give players different colors and they won't be able to change it
also when you place saddle on a pet pig and try to ride it, its doing wierd things so its will be better to remove the option to do it
and about the wolfs, if you have normal wolf pet or normal baby wolf pet you can tame it but what if the admin want to give players different types of wolf without they will be able to tame it? and also when you tame the wolf, he will tp to you not only will the plugin, he will tp to you with minecraft wolf abillitys and its doing it wierd

You can dye sheep, slimes cannot follow the player entity properly.. I actually got DSH to make this for my server :p
Dye sheep by: /pet sheep:<colour>,<baby or adult>
Awesome plugin!, but, maybe you can add like a perm, that when you log on, you will have the pet around you?, like: echopet.pet.sheep echopet.pet.mushroomcow,baby, echopet.pet.pigzombie.baby.mouht,sheep.lime.baby and etc then when you will log on you will have pet with you, and maybe add command, to give another player pet like: /givepet <player> <type>:[data] <mount>:[data]
also, there is no pigzombie and pigzombie baby and no magma slime and slime
and its can be cool if youll be able to change the wolfs to angry wolfs and tamed wolf, and choose slime sizes.
also its will be better if you won't be able to dye a pet sheep,tame a pet wolf or pet baby wolf and place saddle on pet pig.
and if you can add command for users that have a pet,: /pet hide and /pet show and it will hide the pet when you doing hide, and when you do pet show it will bring it back
oh and, i found bug, try to do /pet zombie:baby he is acting wierd and another, that is critical, is when you stop the server, then open it agian the pet will be like normal mob, that can kill you or you can hit it.
Btw the plugin is awesome.
