EasyMobs
EasyMobs - everything about your monsters!
Introduction:
EasyMobs is a simple plugin which allows you to modify your mobs as you wish. Of course there might be a dozen plugins around which do nearly the same - but EasyMobs is one of the easiest. It's efficient, not wasting any ressources and extremely lightweight. Furthermore you can configure everything by yourself in the config file, nothing is hardcoded. Everything you don't configure will use the default values from your server.
EasyMobs also works with older versions!
Features:
• Damage values •
• Health points •
• Item drops •
• Experience points •
• Skull drops •
• Potion effects •
• Armor parts •
• Custom Names •
• Items in Hands •
• Allow mob/animal spawn per world •
Configuration:
You only have to download the latest version, put it into your plugins folder and reload the server. A default config file will be generated, where you can adjust everything as u wish. On every point you can either choose to overwrite existing values, just add your specifics or let everything on it's default ones. You have a lot of examples and help in the generated config file which shouldn't let any question unanswered. I strictly recommend to read the full default config file and this further explanation before changing your own file or reporting bugs!
Permissions and commands:
command | usage | permission |
---|---|---|
easymobs reload | reload plugin after changing config file | easymobs.reload |
OP players don't need permissions

Possibly updating to 1.7.5? :) spams console abit on mob spawns.

For leveled mob compatibility, as well as Lorinths RPG mobs plugin, all you simply need to do is disable the Stat increases(Hp/Potions/dmg), The name-tags(as both plugins store the data in the tags), and also, if you have armor enabled on either plugin, disable it on whichever one you want.
@wiedzmin137
I can't see the need of compatibility with those featured plugins so far, if you want to use MythicDrops (or anything else) for dropping items it's no problem, just remove all drop notes from EasyMobs config file and everything should be fine. Same thing on all other points, just disable exp, hp, dmg or whatever if you wanna use another plugin for this :)
BTW: Version 1.2.0 is ready for download now :)
Hello.
Can you make compatibility with:
Thanks.
Version 1.2.0 is out now!
You can now add items (like weapons or even a door) to your mobs hands!
Also you can give names to your mobs now, randomly from a list and with full color support!
It's also possible to disable mob or animal spawn per world, sadly there is no possibility to set a limit or create a kind of whitelist for mobs without causing memory leaks, so I removed this. :( Furthermore I added mob type support, you can now use "BABYZOMBIE" and "WITHERSKELETON" as new mobnames.
On the next update I'm planning to rewrite a lot of code, so that you might be able to create "bonus mobs" where you can specify all values like hp, damage, armor and so on.
As always this will only effect mobs which are stated in the config file, everything else will stay on it's default values.
Note that if you update from an older version you just have to copy the new lines into your edited config file. The new version file just has to be checked by Bukkit, then it's available for download.
Can you add data value support? Because Wither Skeletons are classified as just Skeletons and they drop normal Skeleton heads. Also skeletons don't have wepaons (Wither skellys don't have stone swords and reg skellys don't have bows)
@booggy
xD yeah. well, id kind of like to see an option for all of those. I'd really like to see if its possible to have a different name-tag for each mob, and have an option to disable it for specific mobs. such as horses, make them not have tags as they are passives. Zombies, maybe a configurable name-tag such as Zombies= &cGoblin, Skeletons= &cUndead. and maybe even an option to have a "bonus" like mob. which is stronger, has a different configurable name-tag, different stats such as 2x more health or something similar, maybe even have different abilities, such as spawn mobs on death, shoot fireballs, or something like that. And if at all possible, could you also add an option for visibility range(so mobs can follow players for longer distances)?
@DjSwifPanda
Yeah that's easy to implement, too. I'm still at developing the concept, but you will be able to add items in mobs hands (like weapons, but also other items to drop), name tags (random? every mob? on those with a full armor set? a list of mob names?), disable certain mob spawns on worlds... There are still a couple of questions unanswered before I can start coding :)
@booggy
Well, i do not know how much you know about coding, but i plan on using this to have a custom mob like feature for my server. still working on it, so like Zombie Babies are Goblins, Zombies are Orcs, Skeletons are un-dead, similar things. any possible feature for adding custom Name-tags to each mob? or something a similiar? :3 sorry for late reply. been in the city all day~
@DjSwifPanda
Oh, my bad, I haven't considered about their weapons. Should be the same at Pigzombies, I'm sorry about this. I'll fix this in the next days :) Also I'll think about adding weapons and a limit for certain worlds. Any more ideas?
So... Now Skeletons cant spawn with bows... any way to change this? and if all possible, add a 50% chance to spawn with a bow, and if they do not, they spawn with a sword? and maybe even custom enchantments on the armor/color for leather? :3
Hi booggy. EasyMobs is a very good and very useful plugin. Now the mobs are really strong and powerful. Thank you. :)
@mp12000
Not yet, but I take this as a request which I'll try to implement soon. :)
Can I configure how many mobs I want in a world? Like I have this world on my server that has houses and I don't want any mob on that world...can this plugin do that?
Version 1.1.0 is out now!
You can now add potion effects (like invisibility, speed, strength,..) to your mobs. Invisible creepers, that's creepy! Also you can equip your mobs with armor! You can either set every single part or add a whole set.
As always this will only effect mobs which are stated in the config file, everything else will stay on it's default values.
Note that if you update from an older version you just have to copy the new lines into your edited config file. The new version file just has to be checked by Bukkit, then it's available for download.
