DwarfForge
Wiki | Permissions & Commands | Usage | GitHub Source
The Dwarfs learned long ago how to manipulate lava to their will. By building their furnaces directly above lava, they can smelt metals and bake goods for a long time without hauling buckets about. Now, you can too. Build your furnace directly above a lava block, then punch the furnace to ignite it. Punch it again to douse the flames. No fuel/buckets needed!
There is a minimal configuration file; the plugin will automatically generate a default config.yml file if none is present. Just drop the JAR into your plugins folder and reload.

Features |
---|
- Runs forever! No fuel/buckets needed.
- However, Forges can be required to operate with fuel, which is pulled from the input chest along with raw materials.
- Punching the furnace toggles it on/off.
- Dwarf Forges stack vertically. Lava only necessary under the lowest forge. (Lava is powerful, man!) Stacked forges can all access the same set of input/output chests.
- Input and output chests (left and right of forge, respectively, when facing it) supported. Double-size chests also supported. Additionally, you can "stack" horizontally to access nearby chests.
- Stacking limits are configurable (defaults: 3 high, 4 wide).
- Can change the cooking time: warp speed!
- Blocks in a short, 3-block radius from any Dwarf Forge are protected against fire from lava.
- Supports Permissions.
- Supports Metrics

Yes, otherwise the build would fail.
@Stormbow
Just thinking, chaseoes, are you building against the latest craftbukkit? DwarfForge is not build against bukkit.jar but against craftbukkit.jar (and there the version is hardcoded here and there!!!).
@chaseoes
Thank you, that's the "#3" that I've been trying, still unsuccessfully, to use. Some kind of major minor version error; whatever that means... I'm PMing Martin now for more help. Thanks!
@chaseoes
I am sorry chaseoes, but your version still doesn't work with 1.5.2. I changed my site a bit so you can find the plugin a bit easier. And, send me a private msg and you get it too :)
I will try to keep it up to date for the latest Beta-build of Bukkit (not DEV-builds!!)...
Greetz, Martin (a BIG fan of this plugin!)

I thought so too; I read somewhere that this was still working in 1.5.2, I guess not. I'm trying to use "Build #3" off the Jenkins site/GitHub.
Any chance of an update?
@Martin1704
how do i download off ur server, i go on ur page and plugins, dwarfforge and it says trololo and shows a picture of how to use it, how do i download then?
@Stormbow
I am not really sure, but it looks like some version mismatching... Where did you get the DwarfForge.jar from?
It's giving me an error on load in 1.5.2.r01
This is, by far, one of my all-time favorite plugins for Minecraft servers. I would be forever sad to see this mod discontinued.
well ill have to dig up my logs again, sorry. it basically just failed on the turning off the furnace.
they were slow, and chucked coal at me all the time XD it was working for awhile, but then once like 10 ppl were using their forges, it started throwing errors.
if i cant find my old logs, ill toss it back in and get the errors for you
@mal67
Hey, What is not working anymore? I have no problems on my server, so maybe some error-messages or what is wrong... bit more info might be really helpfull....
@warriorsfury
what exactly is chasoes version doing? or not doing?
im not using anything right now martin tried to get it working again, but on my server it seems to quit after a day or so.
Anyone?
@chaseoes
That still does not work.
@warriorsfury
The latest build off http://ci.chaseoes.com?
Can you please update this for 1.5.2 it is not working on my server. Either that or i'm doing something wrong, but I am using the latest build I can find.
@mal67
Hmmm... I will check on that error, if the time is having some extra for me... Also, that getting full stacks is, according to comment ' Take all, because it's generally more efficent'. It is changable, but I don't want to change anything in code, other than keep it working...
seems to be good, its got a couple oddities like loading the largest amount possible into one furnace, allowing only a few to be on at once. but items are moving where they should so it still functions at this stage, (Thanks Martin1704) though i get this error occasionally.
figured i would pass it on, in case it might help with any kind of bugfixes.
Well, mayby this is accepted, I run my own server at cakecraft.nl That is also the website! And the plugin is call DwarfForge.jar that is in the root of the website, so, copy/paste etc and you get it to work.... Don't know if the forum will let this happen, else, just PM me or look back
