DropParty
What is Drop Party?
Drop Party is a simple, easy to use plugin that lets you create drop parties on your server.
Latest version: 3.2. Compatible with Craftbukkit and Spigot 1.11.2.
Features
- Set chests that items will be taken from for chest parties
- Set item spawn points for each drop party
- Set firework spawn points for each drop party, where fireworks will be shot at the end of the party
- Set each drop party's item drop delay, maximum length, and maximum stack size
- Set each drop party's firework spawn delay and amount. Fireworks will spawn at the end of a Drop Party
- Enable vote to start on a drop party, and set the required amount of votes to start it
- Enable votifier for a party and let players vote through votifier (currently disabled in v3.2)
- Enable periodic start on a drop party, and set the length of time between each automatic start
- Set a party to not empty a chest, so the party can be run repeatedly without refilling chests.

Awesome news! Thanks again for all your efforts!
@KCQuetzal
/dropparty may be used instead of /dp
Edit: If you want to add your own alias, you can open the .jar file with a zip file opener such as WinZip or 7zip, open the plugin.yml, and change "aliases: dp" to "aliases: youralias" or if you want multiple, "aliases: [youralias, somealias, anotheralias]"
@maxlehot1234
Not currently, I am planning on adding that feature though. Thanks for the suggestion :) If you wanted to do that with the current version, you could find another plugin that executes commands at a certain time and just make it start the party for you. A couple possible plugins: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/scheduledcommands/ http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/timed-commands/
If it's not too difficult would it be possible to add an alternative command other than /dp? I use DynamicBan for managing bans on my server and /dp is registered by that plugin so I am unable to use this plugin as much as I would like to. If it's too difficult I understand and appreciate your efforts anyways. :)
Is it possible to planned drop party ? Example, i want to create a dropparty each wednesday and saturday at the same place, is it possible to create without player need to enter command?
@ampayne2
Yes, I am using the latest build from Jekins, the one flagged as failed. The broadcast issue isn't this plugin's problem, it is a common 1.7.9 issue that also affects ClearLag, Essentials, and some other plugins, or I have done something wrong on another plugin's config. I will PM you when I have more info, like if I manage to get something out of my 9678765 line startup log :).
@ItIsMeMyself
I haven't run into either issue on my test server or a real server its on. Do you have the latest build (even if its marked as a failed build)? If so could you PM me with more details
@ampayne2
Works well except two things: It still drains out chests after a chest drop party ends. Does only broadcast messages to console (Common 1.7.9 Issue, I reported it to SpigotMC and Bukkit forums).
@ItIsMeMyself
The latest build on Jenkins is the same build awaiting approval on bukkitdev, so it's safe to use. The bukkitdev staff just hasn't approved it yet, meaning it could have malicious stuff in it or not follow their guidelines, so use it at your own risk :P
@ampayne2
Is it safe to use it if I download it from Jekins, or do you suggest I wait until it gets accepted?
Uploaded the latest version yesterday, until it is accepted some of the documentation above will be outdated.
@Baamoink @ItIsMeMyself Finished the update! The bukkitdev staff are swamped with plugins updating to support UUID's right now, so it may take several days to be approved once I upload it tomorrow.
@ampayne2
That sounds great.Thanks!
When i do ./help dp it says error NULL and then on the command prompt for servers it repets the message _!!!ERROR NULL!!!_
@Angel12Death12
Thanks for the tutorial in Spanish! I embedded it into the overview.

I haven't been able to code anything for a while now but I will be able to soon. I thought about some changes so here is what the next release will have:

Many Issues With Spigot...
I run a big server on Spigot 1.7.8 with this plugin. it has great features, but it would also be great if the chests were not emptied everytime a drop party started. Also, I have noticed that /dp list does not work. Please fix that as fast as you can!!!
This isn't working for me..
Its installed correctly.. config has been created.. permissions have been given to admin.. but when i type a command in game nothing appears.. at all. no text.. nothing.
@BlockBert
The available party types are chest and custom, however custom does nothing currently (the only reason this is a beta)
Hey there, I'm a little confused about the <type>. Which types exist? I’m looking for a list or stuff like that…Can you add it?
We want an updae, because i want all feature, not some feature... Thanks
