DeathTpPlus
DeathTpPlus announces a death with a random message based on the death cause and allows you to teleport to the point of death It can also create a TombStone at the place you died to let you save your inventory (aka DeadMansChest).You can also create a tomb sign which can be used as respawn point and as a place of information of how often you died and what your last death cause was.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to some issues with yaml you can get the following error: unacceptable character '?' " in the log, The fix is to remove the รค atm from the default messages and if you have custom messages to remove any of them using special characters. Sorry about that!

Based on the original plugin from lonelydime. Integrates a fork of furt from cenotaph and tomb from dark_balor.

DeathTP
- Use /deathtp to teleport back to where you died.
- Optional: Charge a player an item to teleport (must be in the player's hand).

Tomb
- Create a Tomb Sign which holds the following information: The name of the player, the number of times he died and what was the last cause.

- You can configure if the respawn point is based upon the world the player is in or across worlds

Don't want one of the features? No worries! Just disable it in the config file and it'll be like that feature isn't in the plugin at all! The file IOs aren't called and neither are the methods used for those features. Worried about performance? Don't be!
Install
- Upload the DeathTpPlus.jar file into your plugins directory.
- Start your server or do a reload
- Configure the config.yml file in your plugins/DeathTpPlus/
- Change the deathmessages and tombmessages to your liking, if you have some good ones post them here!
- Give the permissions to use certain commands or features
- Restart your server or do a reload to read changed config

FAQ
- Q: Colors are not working correctly in messages, what is wrong?
A: If you are using Essentials Chat turn that off, otherwise you need to live with it or ask Essentials Teams why that happens. - Q: What does "expected <block end>, but found Scalar" in my log messages mean?
A: Probably you forgot to use \" or ' to get a " - Q: I see a killed by X message but I did use /suicide from essentials or similar.
A: This is a bug of the other plugin not setting the death cause correctly. Nothing I can do. Sorry. - Q: If I die in a cave or in nether and use /deathtp I will teleport back to the place I died but on top of the world
A: Change teleportToHighestBlock: true to false but read the comments first in the config. - Q: Could you support RegionPlugin XYZ?
A: Not until a general API similar to Vault for economics comes out. I will support region plugins I use myself. - Q: Can I help you?

I love this plugin. Very cool killstreaks too!
However, i'd like to report an incompatibility with MobArena
it seems both plugins are using the same death message :)
so whenever someone dies, it uses MobArena's default message.
Could this be fixed? This would be the best death plugin if ever :)
Minor gripe...but I could do with about 90% less messages in the console at start-up. This mod doubles (literally) the size of my startup log.
I'm super excited about CraftIRC 3 support. When do you plan on adding it in?
Any way to stop it from reporting how many death messages it loads for every type of event when starting your server? It makes it hard to spot actual problems when there's so much info that I can't use. Maybe a debug option for that? Sorry and thanks.

Awesome plugin ! Can you add the possibility to change the sentence when the price of /deathtp is 0 ? Because : "You used $ 0.00 to us /deathtp." i don't like that ! :p

Thanks for posting the pasties! Atm you need to disable LWC I guess or role back to an older version.
The configVer is only updated when there are new updates to the config file, and you don't need to delete everything.. it should be coded update save from now onwards..(I hope :-) )
Hi, Is it possible to make people teleport to their tombstone when they right click on their Tomb ? (as was doing Tomb)
For some reason 3.2 is not working for me. I am using the latest permission nodes...
When people die they get no Chest, no death messages, no signs... nothing.
I am using PermissionsEX 1.17, Bukkit 1.01, the latest Dev build of LWC and Vault 1.18

Somestimes I was getting teleported to the void, I don't know wich special cases are this ones :(
[IDEA] Like some mmorpg games, you should add function that instead of a Chest Tomb, you simply don't lose your items or you drop normal items at a normal chance and lower chance to drop armors equipped and weapons in the main bar (the one you press 1-9 to choose slot)
The programming of this is not exactly simple but is not impossible either, I think it would be a very good idea, instead of dropping a chest :P, is like more automatic.
The people i've seen use this complain that it doesn't spawn them back in a cave using /deathtp

Don't you actually have a list of existing tombstones? when you type command /dtplist it shows you the tombstones you have and you can locate them. So the only thing that you need to do is adapt the teleport command to work with the existing index of tombstones.
You can ofc put 2 different commands like /dtptp for teleporting to the tombstone (over it would be great), and /deathtp that recognizes the last death position, different permissions and all would be great and not so hard to do since you have all the other commands already set to check the tombstones and stuff.

nope, and atm the code doesn't really allow for it.. Problem is also that it is quite hard to check if the teleport location has STILL a TombStone. https://github.com/dredhorse/DeathTpPlus/issues/33
Is there any way to only allow /deathtp command if there is a TombStone?
So players teleport to their TombStones if they exists.

in game I get the LWC Notification (as I'm OP) This locked chest belongs to you, and gives me one item from inside, and the chest persists.
the console gives me this:
After that, if I log out and back in, all inventory is now transferred to me, but the chest and sign remain and I must destroy them on my own, instead of quickloot destruction.
