1. Set lobby and end spawn locations with /ds set <lobby/end>
2. Each player use /ds join the game or /ds duel <player> to play with a friend
3. Each player is teleported to a random location
4. On a customizable interval between 20 and 120 seconds, the player swaps locations
5. There is a 5 second protection period after each swap
6. Each player attempts to set up a trap so when the other player swaps they die
7. Whoever dies first loses!
This plugin has an extensive API, create your own extension and let hawkfalcon know to be featured here!
This uses metrics to keep track of stats. This plugin works best with some others, that we suggest you consider using alongside it! You can find more information on that here.
File a ticket or leave your suggestion in the comments!
i want to use this plugin on my server but i need to know if it disables flight when you join the world this is on or does anyone have a way to disable flight and my flight plugin (SimpleFlight) in certain worlds. Thanks if you can help!
Looks cool :) May dedicate a server to this ad it it to my hub
1.5 is a breaking update in two ways:
1. Location storage has been moved to data.yml, either move them or reset your spawns.
2. Some API events have changed
(If you have created an extension for DeathSwap, let me know, and I'll advertise it here!)
Uploaded v1.5
Notable changes:
1. Inventory saving (toggleable)
2. Configurable prefix
3. Configurable min distance (random_spawn_distance_apart)
4. Data stored in data.yml (you need to reset your spawn points)
Many many bugs fixed.
See changelog in http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/deathswapcore/files/ for more deatils.
@Kaketoe
Please make a ticket with the full log. :-)
@hawkfalcon
thanks :p it's working now with the latest snapshot, but after someone won it gives this error: http://pastebin.com/A5p5z4tB
@Kaketoe
If radius is only 100 that is bad. Make it minimum 10000. :P
@hawkfalcon
i tested some dev builds and it still crashes my server, if a game starts. and the radius is only 100 and it has 3gb ram
@Kaketoe
Increase the radius. This has been fixed in 1.5.
everythime a game starts my server crashes any idea why?
@Travisvv
Sure.
1. Store inventories
2. Rewrite
3. Change api stuff
4. you wont run out of space
5. Fix cooldown bug
6. Many other little things
@hawkfalcon
I will try and do a good job looking for bugs. Can I get a list of changes in the latest version?
@BlueFusion95
It already does this. There is a permission 'deathswap.bypass' which bypases the blocking.
Can you make an option to disable player commands (other than /ds leave) while in game?
Thanks.
Blue
@celtics88
Careful, there may be bugs. My tester is out of town and I haven't been able to find another reliable one :)
@hawkfalcon
Thanks! I can finally open my shop
@celtics88
Nah. A CI is continuous integration, which is powered by jenkins. tl;dr, dev builds. http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-mods/deathswapcore/pages/dev-builds-disclaimer/
Sorry I'm kind of a noob, but by CI do you mean your github page?
If anyone wishes to test the new version, it is on my CI. May have bugs.
thanks! i'll see if it works
