cRecipes
This project is not abandonned! I just had to no time updating and adding all the feature requests. I will try to make a big update once 1.7 bukkit is out!
cRecipes
cRecipes is a server plugin made for the Catharos Minecraft Server that allows custom recipes. Yes there are a lot of plugins that are allowing you to add various recipes. But why cRecipes then? This time the plugin not only allows you to add recipes, it also adds two main functions: Custom block names and drops.
Changelog
Configuration and How-To
Features
Besides custom recipes (shaped, shapeless and furnace) cRecipes features:
- Custom block item names
- Custom block drops
- Per-Item permissions including customizable error message
- Color support for both, item names and lords
- Can overwrite vanilla recipes!
Commands
The goal of this plugin is to not have over-complicated configurations and commands. That's why there is only one command: /creload. Use it to reload the configuration files and all custom recipes
To-Do list
- Enchantments
- Custom books
Version 1.0.6 - In development (not yet released)!
- Add extra items that can be given to the player upon successful crafting
- Added option to keep the original item names (use "set-name: false" in the recipe config)
- Added the xp and lvl messages
- IMPORTANT FIX: Custom blocks in protected regions are no longer destroyable!
- Fixed drop-related bugs
- Finally fixed and implemented a working updater!
@Dinastya
I will try to improve the loading time in future - On my server I also have about 20 recipes, but it only takes about 3 seconds for me. Maybe it depends on your server...
One more thing would it be possible to reduce load time? I have made like 30 recipes and it takes like 10 seconds to load them at start up
@SpaceEmotion
Woah :)
Thanks for the quick fix it's working now indeed.
Could you also look in the second bug on the second comment about the soups?
That bug is still happening.
And think it was reported by xlucky but when you use experience in config you can't take the item out of the crafting gui.
Also noticed you updated the documentation it's way better now :) thanks.
@Dinastya
Fixed: http://build.catharos.de/job/cRecipes/30/ ;)
Also found a bug.
If the player doesn't have permissions for a certain recipe with extras they still get the extras.
So you can get free items really quick.
edit: Just got another bug :p
When you have multiple recipes with the same result item the resulted item get always named the same even if they are set up different in the config.
Like i have different mushroom soup, FishSoup, CactusSoup, FlowerSoup and some others.
But the result is always returning with fishsoup even when i craft the cactus soup as soon as it lands in my inventory it get renamed to fishsoup. http://pastebin.com/8U2EUiEr
Could you make it so when you break a custom block that it also displays lore?
Because now when i break a block it still got the custom name.
But the custom lore is gone.
And could you add a option to let it drop defaults?
Now like when you craft a web it drops a web instead of a string.
And some items drop 1<>2 items etc and can't really do that with the drops config would be nice if you could add a default-drops: true or something.
And you should maybe update examples and put some more documentation.
People are all gonna be asking the same because a lot things aren't listed like: Furnace recipes, extras, experience, setname, and prob missing some stuff :p
I now had to look at github to see the correct formatting for the new stuff.
@xclucky
Its because the default recipe for arrows will produce 4 arrows - crecipes overrides the default recipe and changes the amount to 2.
I noticed a very strange bug. I have this recipe:
It works fine, however, when players go to craft a normal arrow, it only gives them 2 when they drag it out (even though it initially appears as 4 in the crafting output box). Any idea what's going on with that?
@xclucky
Well thats weird, i definitely have to look into this. I just added the "don't rename" option about 15 mins ago; download the latest snapshot and use the "set-name: false" line in the config:
@SpaceEmotion
It still doesn't seem to want to work:
Also, when do you think you will be able to get the recipe alias working (where it doesn't rename the item, and thus making it not stack with other items of the same type). In addition to this, why isn't my XP Bottle recipe working, the item appears in the crafted box, but can not be taken out:
@Cowboydu80
Confirmed as bug - will fix it asap Edit: well, that was quick :D http://ci.catharos.de:8080/job/cRecipes/28/
@SpaceEmotion it works with other blocks such as stone or stone brick but not with the chiseled stone bricks and Cracked stone bricks.
@Cowboydu80
it's called drops not drop ;)
@xclucky
If you use spaces ALWAYS use parentheses (like ' or ")
@SpaceEmotion
And why weren't the exp bottles working?
Also, spaces don't seem to work. Would you mind creating the recipe for me :( I'm basically wanting an x of string to make 2 cobweb...
@SpaceEmotion it does not work, drop the block 2 blocks there is there a problem in the config?
@finamenon
hmm both versions should work - please tell me if the material name versions work. if not - its a bug ;D
Hmm alright. Sorry about that. Perhaps you could tell me why these didn't work? I don't seem to be getting the hang of it xD

@Cowboydu80
set the same block as a drop list: Example if your block would be WOOD:5:
Hi, When i create a craft that gives 2 blocks and when I break a block it drop 2 blocks. How to drop it as one?
@finamenon
Item codes are already implemented just use them ;)
@xclucky
Do NOT use AIR as a material in a shaped recipe. Use spaces instead! For the name: I am planning to do so, yes. Shift click can be added again, but I found a bug with it, that's why i disabled it. When you shift-click items they won't stack anymore :/ I can add a configuration for it though...
