This is part of my Craft-Arrows suite, you can find it here: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/craftarrows-new-arrows/
However, it is not required for this plugin to function.
This plugin is still in -BETA TESTING-. Release will probably be next week.
CraftWeapons adds several new weapons which can be crafted. All recipes are completely customizable. There is an extensive config file which has a lot of quotes in it explaining how to change everything.
All weapons work on a %Chance basis. Additionally some weapons can right-click to shoot (configurable), they can be set to use a "charge" system which limits users on how many times they can shoot.
Currently included are:
- Slime Sword - %chance the target is slowed
- Stick of Annoyance - Plays ultra creepy sounds only for the target, does no damage (Material: Stick)
- Bone of the Wither - %chance to inflict target with wither, bonus damage (Material: Bone), can right click to shoot witherskulls (Charges/Cooldown)
- Hoe of Healing - Heal target (Material: Hoe) (Charges/Cooldown)
- Blinding sword - %chance to blind target
- Weakness sword - %chance to apply weakness
- Poison sword - %chance to apply poison
- Confusion sword - %chance to apply confusion
- Thors Hammer - %chance to strike lightning on hit (Material: Axe), can right click to shoot lightning (Charges/Cooldown)

So you think the right-click to shoot feature is op? So do I. Charges will be enabled by default. When you craft a weapon with charges, it will appear as: Thors Hammer Charges: 25 After a player shoots 25 times, he now cannot shoot again. There is also a configurable cooldown. Don't want them to spam it? Enable the cooldown.

Errors/Issues/Problems/Can't get it to work?
Use the ticket system:
Try to provide as much information as you can such as:
- Errors (if any)
- CB-version
- startup-log (the complete!)
- Steps to reproduce error (if possible)
And anything else that might be important. Incomplete tickets will be closed.
Seeing as how the weapons data is being stored via Lore (I hope, it's the only logical way and is how you handled arrows), I'm seeing this plugin able to breath more as CraftEnchants as opposed to just limiting itself to weapons. As such you could have variable amounts of power to the weapon such as Poison Aspect 1 or Slowing Aspect 5. You could also extend the enchantments to armor as well with enchants that add potion effects when the player is hit.
Anyhow, weapons suggestions because I'm not going to leave without putting some in (Most of these might take from Thaumcraft, but they are good concepts):
