Color Portals
Color Portals lets users create portals in game with little effort and no commands to type!
Using wool, a sign, a pressure plate, and a button, players can create their own portals!
Features:
- No commands necessary to set up portals.
- Portals link automatically. No running back and forth setting locations.
- MultiVerse/MultiWorld compatible. Teleport between worlds with ease.
- No permissions required. (But are supported)
- No configuration required. (But many options are supported)
- Plug and Play.
Download now and try it out for yourself!
Optional Commands:
- /portal info or /cp info - Use while standing in or looking at a portal to get more information on the portal and where it warps to.
- /portal list or /cp list - Displays how many portals are registered on the server.
Color Portals is by far the easiest to use portal plugin to date and is also the most fun. People on your server will not be able to get enough!
I have put many hours of work into this plugin and it is my hope than anyone who enjoys the features it brings to their server will donate.
@TWSSYesterday
Yes it works with 1.4.7. I hope your server enjoys it!
Nevermind i just deletet the folder and it worked again
I run a server, and i recently moved it over to a dedicated server, and now whenever i have to restart my server i have to set up all the portals again for them to work :(
any fix to this?
Great plugin btw. i love how easy it is to make portals!
Hi, Tooner
I'm not trying to be a pest or anything but I was wondering if you might, possibly, have an ETA on the next update?
Any info you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again for such a cool mod ;)
One Word
@SnowGears
Thanks, Tooner!
@CableChef
I will look into this because I know how annoying it can be when things dont work as you want them to. And thank you so much! It would be great to get donations but no worries if you cannot at the moment.
@SnowGears
Anything you could do to address it would be appreciated by, not only myself but the community in general.
We do appreciate the work you do and if I were in a position to donate I would. Look for a donation from me in the coming weeks (financial issues atm :( )
@CableChef
I could try loading the chunk into memory before teleporting there. This is primarily a bukkit issue at the moment though.
I am also having the same issue with being teleported under the portal. It seems like it only happens when I teleport into another chunk. When teleporting within the same chunk, it doesn't happen.
Any chance on this being something easy to fix?
Thank you for the update, Tooner. It is much appreciated as I am eagerly awaiting the next release of this plugin.
Good luck with your projects and may they be as bug free as possible ;)
@marubal21
I am currently working on two large projects. 1) I am updating Armor Abilities, which is in very high demand and is in dire need of an update 2) I am working on a very large pvp battle plugin that I am nearly done with.
So I will try to get an update out with this feature sometime soon. It will most likely be after the ArmorAbilities update but before the release of my new plugin.
Thanks for your interest!
When are u planing your next update to this plugin? i only ask because i'm interested in being able to assign custom blocks for each color portal.
I have an issue. my portals keep teleporting me back underground, 2 blocks below the center block of the portal. it only does this on one end of the portal, however (the 1st portal built of a pair) the other end of the portal always teleports me standing where i should.
Any ideas on what cold cause this? I would really love to be able to use this cool plugin :(
@SnowGears
I did as you asked and it isn't empty, per say, but what's in it isn't coherent either. o_o

@Makoness
Hmmm, the only thing I can think of that may be causing this is your computers permissions to write to files. After you have created a few portals in your server, shut the server down and tell me if the portals.yml file in the color portals folder is blank.
@SnowGears
Yes, sir. I am using the current bukkit beta build which is bukkit 1.4.6-R0.3 and the latest ColorPortal which is CB 1.4.6-R0.1. I tried setting up an R0.1 and R0.2 bukkit server as well for 1.4.6 but those ALSO did not connect upon my reloading/putting the server back up.
I also reinstalled ColorPortals a few times, just to make sure, and still nada.
@Makoness
Hmm, I am not sure. I have never had reports of this with the newest version and I personally tested this and it works fine... Are you using the latest version of color portals and the latest bukkit beta build? If it continues try deleting the color portals folder and reinstalling.
I know it said that it was already fixed in the changelog but I am STILL having the bug where my portals won't link after reloaded or putting up my server. Am I doing something wrong?
You're the wo/man Tooner! Looking forward to your next update ;)
