Chadmin
Chadmin - made by efreak1996 and some by Lolmewn
Description
Chadmin is a new Plugin, inspired by Herochat, for managing the Minecraft Chat. It gives you the ability to create multiple channels, which can be password protected and only available per world.
All Chatactivity can be logged and censored.
It has also intelligent Player Highlighting, which means if someone says 'efreak1996, may I buy this region?', 'efreak1996' will be highlighted. But it will also be highlighted, if someone only says 'efreak, may I...'. And this 'nickname detector' will be better and more precise, if Chadmin runs longer.
Also it gives you the ability to send PM's, which will be saved if you aren't online. So you will never miss a message again.

Metrics
This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version If you wish to disable this feature (/me cries), you can do so by opt-ing out, which you can do in the config file under /plugins/PluginMetrics/
Auto-updater
This plugin has a built-in auto-updater, which connects to BukkitDev to check for updates. If you, for some reason, wish to disable this process, you can do so by setting 'update' to false in the plugins' settings file.
@MeepDarknessMeep
Fixed with v1.1.1
Bug 1: If you say "$" in chat it breaks that line. Bug 2: When you put this config in it messes up the names...
@mcredstonepro
Oh, right. Should be in the next version.
@skiller4ever
Not sure how that could have been generated, but I added some checks prior to the stuff there to see if it wasn't gonna error.
I have this problem:
@Lolmewn
I did look through config. It only has color codes which was set to true. As you saw the image, you can see that it doesn't show any format codes, only color works with it.
@mcredstonepro
Actually, it might be a config option. I just went though some code, and it seems it translates color if some config option is set. Might want to look through the config, I guess.
@Lolmewn
Just out of curiousity, how long do you think until this will be in the next update. I am kind of forced to run Essentials and EssentialsChat on my server until this is released or I have to deal with the chat showing the <player> message thing which my players and I really hate. The reason I don't wan't to use essentials on my server is because it is the second largest plugin on my server, and I have no need for it as I have another ban/mute plugin, and all the other features/commands on it I have no need for.
@mcredstonepro
Will do
@CommodoreAlpha
Possibly. I use HeroChat on my server too (for now), so I'll definitely be working on it.
For the feature request, please post a ticket.
Please make format/matrix codes compatibility. What I mean is, make codes such as &k, &l, &m, &n, &o, and lastly &r, able to be used in the rank prefixes.

Will the plugin act as a potential replacement for HeroChat (e.g. have a lot of features HeroChat currently has)? I hope one day I can replace HeroChat with this plugin.
Anywho, I have one feature request, and I'm not sure if I should post this as a ticket or not. With most chat plugins, if you are out of a designated chat range, you will instantly not hear the person, which is extremely annoying. Some plugins have added a message, such as "No one hears you," but that still doesn't help much.
Instead of having an on/off extreme, the plugin should 'garble' your chat to those out of distance. The further away you are, the more garbled the chat becomes, until it is completely unheard, or incoherent. And what I mean by garbling, would be randomly scrambling a few letters, and/or randomly dropping a few letters.
oh. well. i gust i going have to replace my file. no wonder it not working :P thank for taking it over
We'll soon take prefixes and suffixes from Vault, which should take them from PEX. Working on this...
@scgamer_99
We will have a look at that because it seems like a good idea.
I got it to work with factions just fine, but what I would like to see is it taking prefix and suffix from Permissionsex
Does this work with factions?
I'll just go ahead and say that if you want to use the GNU General Public License, you need to publish your source code somewhere. IF you don't want your code to be open, change your license to All RIghts Reserved or something.
Hello, this is expact the plugin i need, but i have a problem when i talk it doesnt shop up my prefix and suffix! what i did in the config is use the %group_prefix% but also with no luck! i use the latest version of PEX and the latest version of this plugin!!
i'm using PEX and ChatManager (from PEX) and i would like to know if its possible to keep the prefix from ChatManager.
What are the permissions for this?

Not know, but added to my todo list
