Diseases
- FleshWound - Injuries caused by breaking blocks with bare fist, no effect but if not cured with bandage infection chance is increased - bandage cure
- YellowFever - Contracted in the insect infested jungle, high fever and sneezing ensues, contagious to others - potion cure
- WhoopingCough - Contracted in the dusty desert, wheezing and coughing contagious - potion cure
- Plague Contracted by damage from zombies, high fever sickness, Vomiting and sneezing contagious - potion cure
- Cholera Contracted by drinking uncleaned water, sickness, Vomiting - potion cure
- Broken Leg Contracted by fall damage, slowness until leg repaired - Crafted splint cure
- Pneumonia Contracted by extend stay in cold conditions, slowness exhaustion reduced lung capacity coughing - heated cream cure
- SwampFever Contracted by swimming in swamp biomes with fleshwound - potion cure
- OpenWound Contracted by being slashed with a sword - bleeding, weakness, damage - bandage cure
- Choking Contracted by eating food - causes blocked throat, - damage, reduced speech, not able to consume food or drink - slap on back cure
- Rabies Contracted by wolf bite - causes fever foaming mouth, vomiting, confusion, violent outbursts, speed strength, heart failure - potion cure
- The Pox Contracted by being near to many animals- causes temperature, sneezing, vomiting, blindness, weakness, CONTAGIOUS - potion cure
Doctors:
To create a doctor sign simply place a sign with [doctor] on second line, it will then turn into the sign on the right. You will need permission to create this sign.
Right clicking the sign will cure a player. If you have vault and an economy plugin you can set the price the doctor sign charges for healing the player in the disease config. (doctorFee: 0)
Immunity System:
live in a cold climate and keep getting pneumonia? well fear not we now have immunity
- Each time you contract a disease you build up an immunity to it
- when you catch a disease your immune system takes a hit so immunity for other diseases will reduce
- Death reduces your immunity.. as its not good for your health
- Higher immunity reduces chance of catching a disease
- 100% immunity will result in being immune to a disease
Basically if your house is in the desert or in cold lands, your immunity will build to any disease that is prevalent in that area, till you are not affected anymore. go out abroad though and you will still be affected by diseases you are not used to.. contracting those will effect your immune system even for the diseases you may be immune to.
Vaccinations: To increase immunity to one particular disease you are able to craft vaccinations to use on yourself or other players. to do this just craft a Syringe, you can then craft a syringe with a curative potion you have made to turn it into a vaccination injection for that disease. Just use it on yourself or another player to increase the immunity level to that disease.
Biological Warfare:
Viruses have long been a terrible weapon that can bring despair and misery to a foe, by using a syringe to extract blood from an infected player you can then place it in a glass bottle or imbue an arrow head with the lethal concoction, by putting the two together in a crafting bench.
This will give you a splash Disease vial. throwing at the enemy or shooting it into their castle has a chance of infecting players caught in the splash hurting them instantly and giving a chance of disease infection.
Or it will give you a diseased arrow which when fired at an enemy gives a chance of infecting the victim if the arrow pierces their skin
Protect your troops by vaccinating them against biological attack.
Note not all diseases can be placed into thrown vials or put on arrows.

A whole new system of detecting temperature of players and applying affects to them this includes the following details

Using Regions
World guard plugin needs to be loaded and enabled in the disease config
- WorldGuard region can be flagged as instant heal region - flag lightening deny This will instantly heal any player in that region
- WorldGuard region can be flagged as immune region - flag soil-dry deny This will not process any disease or infect anyone in this region
- WorldGuard region can be flagged as hospital region - flag leaf-decay deny This will gradually decrease the sickness and temp levels of the player until they reach 0, at which point they will be cured.

From Version 4.0.0 diseases are no longer set and any new custom disease can be created in the config files.
Disease comes with several diseases and remedies to cure those diseases. To create a new one copy a disease file and edit like the example below, and don't forget to enable it by adding it to the config file..

Could you add permissions for /disease info <disease> ? I want my players to figure out where everything comes from, not type a command. And this plugin, like you said, is becoming a beast andakes it a nightmare to decompile, fix the messed up code from the decompiler and then add a permission for every update.. So if you'd add that it would save me a ton of time :P

Okay I deleted the config and language file and now it's working. Also when I was doing stuff in the config I noticed that two words are spelt wrong accidentally. The first is reduces under Disease Cure chances it's almost spelt right but you might have typed too fast and switched the u and c around making it redcues. The second is coughing under Disease effects which you pressed h instead of g making it coughinh.
Hope this helps to make this plugin even better in a grammar way but they were more just typos and who doesn't make those once and a whild. <

Hey I think this is an error when you first recreate the language file Give server a restart again after the language file is back and should be fine
or you haven't recreated the language file
I think I found a bug, when I make a syringe it says null and I cant craft vaccinations or use the needle on myself or others.

We do have a cureOnDeath option in the config which if set to false will not cure the player on death only on cure
I'm sure I can do vault penalty too now as well :)
They also lose immunity so they won't build up immunity to disease do it's in their interest to cure and stay alive to get better immunity
Seems like a great plugin. Idea though; on a production server, players that contract an ailment will just kill themselves to cure the issue. Can you make a configurable option to punish players that die while they have an ailment? IE take money through Vault and/or give them a long lasting debuff effect that they cannot cure and counts as an alement so if they die it resets the debuff?
Hey! I've downloaded your plugin and haven't touched any config. Console said everything works properly, and in-game commands work, item crafting also. But me and my players are unable to contract a disease, it's like ALL plugin mechanics are broken. For an example, if I infect a player with Cholera and he drinks the potion that cures cholera, nothing happens. Hope you could point out if I'm doing something wrong. I'm on Spigot 1.8.1 - 20150304a.

cool idea a sort damage in crease effect of a disease
we do have fleshwounds and such like - that don't actually do anything themselves but if you go swimming in swamps or go into humid jungle without them bandaged they give increased chance of infection

For the cureOnDeath option it works but it would be better to have it so diseases that can kill you wont go away with drowning or whatever but instead if the disease killed you than you'd be cure on death. However for diseases that can't kill you would be cured on death or something.

We do have a cureOnDeath option in the config so you won't lose disease on death only if you cute it
Hey cool I like the idea of desiccation or something from a spider bite
I have a suggestion for this plugin. Making it so that instead of not loosing a disease when you die or not maybe make it so that you have to die from the disease to be cured but if you die from a mob or something it wont go unless it's a disease that cant kill you and maybe making it so you can set it to true of false on the ones that do kill you and the ones that dont. I think that could be pretty useful. Oh and another thing, my friend suggested to add spider bites or something.
