Example of Use:
Hi my name is Tagette and I have two buddies. The first buddy's name is Susan. The second is Jennifer. Susan is already on my buddy list but Jennifer is not. Another person, who I don't like, is on the server. His name is NOTenticlesPL0X.
First I want to add Jennifer to my buddy list so I will send a request to Jennifer.
Tagette: '/bud add Jennifer'
She receives the request and accepts it.
Susan: '/bud add Tagette'
Now that we are both friends I want to send a message to my friends.
Tagette: '/b Hello Jennifer and Susan!'
Next I am going to organize my buddy list because it's growing exponentially.
I will add Susan to a Family group because she is my sister.
'/bud setgroup Susan Family'
I will add Jennifer to a Friends group.
'/bud setgroup Jennifer Friends'
I change my mind and I think Jennifer would better belong in a group of RLFriends because I know her in RL.
'/bud setgroup Jennifer RLFriends'
Shortly after all of that I run into the tenticle guy and he sends me a request by right clicking me.
I accept the request by right clicking him back.
However once I accept the request I suddenly get a lot of spam from him. I need to remove him before I go insane.[/color]
'/bud remove NOTenticlesPL0X'
Once he realizes he has been removed he sends me another request. Except this time I ignore it.
'/bud ignore NOTenticlesPL0X'
How to set permissions ?
Anyone ? D:
Come on, I really need to know ...
Could you please be more detailed and I can help. Whats your Permissions plugin and what way do you want to set it up?, do you want to know how to do the config, setup the permission nodes or the layout for permissions file?
No, I never set up a plugin nor permissions.yml file, how to do so and how to make this buddies plugin to not show up as a permission error ?
Hi there,
first of all i want to thank you for this great plugin! But if i do (admin) /buddy setgroup i get "buddies - Command not found!" Everything else is working like a charm!
Thanks,
snitride
@Elia1995
Make sure you first have a permissions plugin. I suggest using PermissionsEx search for that and install it. There will be instructions on their forum explaining how to add a permission. Then once you have learned how to add permissions, you add the ones I have provided above.
@snitride
Make sure you are using the command correctly.
For Example: I have a buddy named John. I want to set his group to 'Friend'.
I would then type: '/bud setgroup John Friend'
Edit: Sorry I didn't reply sooner I forgot to check this page for comments.
@Elia1995
However if you would like to not use a permissions plugin. This plugin will still work.
Just use the same commands as above. However some commands will require you to be OP to be useable.
If you are using bPerms as an admin, and op yourself, you can no longer use Buddies until you de-op yourself. No errors in consoles, nothing from Debug mode, just says you don't have permission. :/
