BleedingMobs
BleedingMobs
Make your mobs bleed a little
BleedingMobs creates a blood effect, when you hit animals, monsters and other players. It generates blood particles using wool and redstone drops, that disappear after a short time and stain the floor with colored wool blocks. All particles can't be picked up and the wool blocks on the floor can't be broken. This plugin is highly customizable in the config.yml. If you need more options, just add a comment or create a ticket.
You should watch the videos to see the effects in action.
The idea for this project came after watching Yogscast: "Shadow of Israphel" Part 25 and 29.
Permissions You need the permission bleedingmobs.admin (default: op) to use the /bleedingmobs command. You need the permission bleedingmobs.bloodstrike (default: true), if you enable permission-only in config. If you enable the permission bleedingmobs.noblood (default: false), you will not bleed when hurt.
Statistics Since Version 3.4 this plugin sends statistics about the usage to the server http://mcstats.org/. You can disable it using the command /bleedingmobs disable-metrics
1.6.2 ???? please!!!
Theres a new feature that you can add..
You can define in the config your playername, and blood color, particles etc... and in game it will be special to just your player!
Please add this! Thanks!
ok sorry :D
@kriso99
No need to update, everything works fine. the code is pretty much future proof. At time of posting, bukkit just added the needed code for horses to bleed, so the latest dev builds of bukkit will work fine with this, and horses will bleed. The config auto updates itself for new mobs as well.
@deathnote1029
Thanks :)
@kriso99
You could always ask nicely, and if you actually tried it yourself, you would realise that it still works just fine on 1.6.2 builds. So please, next time, before you make yourself look like an impatient child, do yourself a favour and read the comments like a normal person would, to find out information which is relevant to the current situation.
Thanks :)

Update this!
@ke4zzy
They exist in bukkit, but the code I need to make them "bleed" is not there yet. I'll release a build once that happens, though the current version should work fine anyways (it did in all my tests)
@ke4zzy
By a development build. Often Dev builds have caused chaos for plugin developers, because they just arent stable to use, that's why most people wait till RB. So they can then code off of that craftbukkit, when it's stable.
@Iaccidentally
They are supported...
I will release a 1.6.1 update as soon as the horses are supported in Bukkit.
A note about horses (or any other mobs): the config will automatically add them, any new mobs will work fine. However, currently horses will not "bleed" because the method needed is not in bukkit yet.
U forgotten the pigzombie :/
I have this error.
@Iaccidentally:
add this effect
@mat41997
That's a completely different effect than what this plugin does. That screenshot is using particle effects.
@Mr_Wired
Edit the config, you can change the particle material.
How do I make it so they drop raw meat when they die instead of bones, cause i'm using the texture pack: 'The End Is Extremely Nigh' and in this texture pack the bones are little backpack looking icons. So it looks really weird. lol
Pleas add tis efect
