Commands
- /bftd - Root command of the plugin
- For ops or users with the backfromthedead.admin permissions it will display a command list
- /bftd help - Displays plugin version
- /bftd thirst - Displays the users current thirst level (Requires backfromthedead.dayz)

Installation
- Download latest .jar file
- Shut down your server
- Place the .jar into your servers "/plugins" folder
- Start your server back up
- The config file should have generated, edit away!
- Reload the config file with /bftd reload!
- Set up permissions
- Have fun!

Hello there deApollo. Im an IT from Yomsthebombs server. We are getting these 2 errors constantly in console. It is either when a player dies by a zombie and they turn into one, or when a player kills a zombie and the zombie drops the loot.

I'm not sure if there is any way to fix these, or if they are even being caused by something in your plugin. Please let me know the cause if it is in your reach, and how it can be resolved. Thanks!

No sadly this is not the case. If that was the problem it wouldnt be that much of an issue. Whats happening is one zombie is walking at the player. The player beats it to death with a sword then when the zombie dies another (sometimes 2) pop out. Its like a hydra, you cant kill it. Would there be a conflicting plugin causing this?

I believe what's actually happening is that a bunch of zombies spawn in the same place, then, when a zombie is knocked away, the rest of the zombies are able to suddenly spread out.
I may implement a fix that spreads out zombie spawns to stop this from happening.
Very confused with this issue. For some reason when I kill a zombie, occasionally another will spawn inside the zombie as it dies!? Depending on how many I set as the spawn-in-pack max/min catagory. Idk how to fix this issue and its very game breaking as noone can kill a zombie.
Ok deApollo, now i know where is the problem, it's that:
When you set a percentage of many possible drops on a zombie, if any of that percentages is 100%, there are some possibilities to drop nothing, and there is the error.
SEVERE Could not pass event EntityDeathEvent to BackFromTheDead v0.9.4.8
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException Cannot drop a Null item
(on disorder)
When a chance of drop nothing occurs (Drop null), my console spams a lot of errors.
I think that the fix is to setting the minimum and maximum drop percentages to 100%, so, if you want to put some items to drop with different chances, you must to add together chance to 100%
Example:
Chance of drop Gold and Emerald ---> 50% gold and 50% emerald
Chance to drop only Emerald ---------> 100% emerald
And if you set a 80% chance, there is a 20% of chance to drop anything.

Unfortunately, this Plugin causes MAYOR lagg to my server. I have 2GB and that should hold it, even if i have some other plugins.
And i'm getting some random errors about the plugin aswell, on the Console.
Is there Multiverse support?

I really like the zombie populator :) Would you be able to make it so they dont spawn so close to you? They Spawn in your face sometimes :( Also, would it be possible to do some sort of check, so they dont spawn in walls and suffocate :)?

Try redownloading the latest version, I updated without changing the version number with the food fix.
DeApollo. Cool plugin! For some reason whenever I kill a zombie a new ones spawns inside it? Idk why this is. This doesnt happen when I am in gamemode or when I am in /god. only when Im playing :/

The food bar works like that by design so players can always eat food. I'll take a look at the command for pack. Just use the craftable version for now.
EDIT:
I update the currently uploaded version of 0.9.4.9 with a fix for the pack command.
For using /bftd pack and the newest update just removed blood fixed thirst damage, but the healing with food does not work and regains 19/20 food bar which also decreases instantly.

This is completely server side.
Do the Players need to have a mod to join the server or is it all server side?

Just enable the backpack custom recipe in the config if you want to craftable item!

Make sure your world is added to the correct world list. For example, if you want DayZ functionality in a specific world, you need to add the worlds name in the dayz config file world list.
