AttributeHider
This project is updated for the latest version of CraftBukkit. I won't update the plugin for any unofficial forks or anything else.
AttributeHider
What this plugin does
This plugin hides the recently introduced attributes from players. This is useful for roleplay servers, that have their own lore design and don't want this new feature or if the additional 2 lines in the lore just annoy you and you want to get rid of them. Once loaded it will always hide the attributes for your players without removing their effect. As of now there is no whitelist feature for the attributes to appear.
How to use this plugin
This plugin hides the attributes section in the lore from players without removing the effetcs. So in order to get this plugin to work just drop it in your plugins folder and make sure you also have ProtocolLib in your plugin folder. Once loaded it will always hide the attributes for your players without removing their effect. As of now there is no whitelist feature for the attributes to appear.
Dependency
This plugin depends on ProtocolLib. You will need to get ProtocolLib to use this plugin.
Anything else?
This plugin is always active (hiding attributes) and does not have any command nor permissions nor config.
TODO
- Whitelist feature
DONE:
- Add support for internal plugin messages
Found a bug or just have a suggestion? Let me know and I'll try to improve this plugin.
Source
The source can be found in the jar in the folder 'src'.

@Ploppet
Amazing plugin! Thanks so much! Have you ever considered adding support for things like:
@mncat77
I am not sure, i am using the latest version of everything, it seems that this just doesn't update the no attribute tag when selecting an item, it has worked untill i updated to the developement build of Protocallib, i'll try reverting in a bit.
@TommehRRR
This works for 1.6.2 and I don't think ProtocolLib has changed completely, so I don't need to update it. It works fine for me, what is your problem?
This doesn't seem to work on the latest protocallib
Will you update soon?
@SmellyPenguin_
Record names are client side.
Is it possible to add this functionality to records? Or are record "lores" client-sided?
Can you add it so attributes on potions are hidden too(like potion of strength, speed, weakness, etc)
@Jalau
Oh, that was from awhile ago, with some earlier builds, that issue has since been resolved. Thanks for the concern though!
@UltrafaceGuy
Is ProtocolLib installled? And maybe redownload the file because it got an update! Also it seems like your using spigot, maybe these two don't work together... For me it does work fine!
Added support for villagers and waiting for approval right now.
Fun little error message http://pastie.org/8118434
:D
Yeah the new default lore is absolutely horrible. I like what they were trying to do, but they did it in a way that was just REALLY ugly. And forced it on us. I'll be using this the very moment the file is approved, sooner if another means of getting at it appears XD
Was working on a custom rpg plugin. It pissed me off so much after I saw the +7 attack damage on a sword.
Perhaps you can also include enchantment hide option?
