Huh thats an interesting idea actually. Maybe like a configurable option to remove armor buffs in config file? That would actually be pretty cool. Just out of curiosity what was the other plugin that caused this?
EDIT: And yeah I was actually planning on making a plugin that pairs with this for weapons so maybe we could work together on that. I can start coding again in about 2 or 3 months when college apps are done but after that I will continue to add stuff to my existing plugins and create new ones

Anyways, I was wondering, would you ever be interested in making a custom enchantments plugin? It would be similar to armor abilities, only with weapons and tools.
As for suggestions, I was thinking, could you add an option that takes away the defense buffs from the armor? I actually stumbled across a really amazing glitch that happens when you combine this plugin with another, causing the armor to have no defense but keep its abilities. It made for some really awesome gameplay, where people had to use more skill with their armors in order to survive.
That is a great idea I can actually implement without totally rewriting my code. Thanks for the idea. Will definitely include in 2.2. And let me know when your done with that tutorial, I would love to see it. Thanks!
That is very weird. I have tested this with no errors. I will release 2.2 after a while. Working on college applications at the moment so not too much spare time but don't worry, I will update this when I get the chance.

Not sure if this has been suggested but since there is currently a limited number of abilities that can be configured for use (max=6), would it be possible to have a customized list of armor pieces to unlock certain abilities? For example, all the armors can still remain defined the way they are now (using 6 abilities) but if you add the config file a specific configuration/combination, you unlock another ability not available in any other combination.
Oh, almost forgot to mention, I am using CraftBukkit 1.3.1-R2.0, Java 1.7u7, bPermissions 2.9.18 on Windows 7 64-bit and Ubuntu Server 12.04.1 LTS 64-bit

Could you test the following config, and see how it works for you. Iron and Dime are modded.
LEATHER: speed
IRON: lava
GOLD: jump
DIAMOND: scuba
CHAINMAIL: rage
PUMPKIN: assassin
I don't know if typing "/ability on" twice would actually disables the ability or not. But "IRON: lava" only works sometimes, and "DIAMOND: scuba" seems to never work. Default group has the permissions: armorabilities.lavaswim, armorabilities.nofiredamage, and armorabilities.nodrown, as well as the other ones required for the default armors. Only seems to derp on the modded armor abilities.
Hmm not too sure on why this may be happening. I could try recompiling with the latest build? But I do not seem to have this problem but I will look into it. Thanks

Having some issues with this plugin. In order to prevent diamond from being too powerful, I changed diamond armor to scuba, and iron armor to lava protection. I had to edit the config in the plugin itself in order for the abilities to change over. Seems like bukkit just ignores the config in the folder generated completely. Now I am still having an issue where lava protection and scuba will only work sporadically. Using the last dev build of craftbukkit 1.3.1R2.1
Might you offer any insight as to why this is happening? I also use Group Manager.
Can You Add Back The Previous Ways To Get The Abilities. I Am Using War Plugin And I Am Trying To Make An Epic PvP Arena. I Used To Be Able To Do This Due To The Fact The Abilities Were Per Armor. Can You Allow That To Happen Again?
Summary : Can You Please Re-activate Abilities Per Armor Piece Instead For The Whole Armor.
I will try to do that in the next update. May be a while as I am a senior in high school and have to do all the college application stuff along with other work but I will update when I can. Thanks for the suggestion
Update still seems a bit buggy. When wearing a full suit and then typing "/ability on" sometimes you will have to remove one piece of the armor then place it back on in order for the ability to work. Then when a player uses the ability it will stop working after a few seconds or a minute. Using v2.1.5

But if you give the user the correct permission, it should work no matter the armor set they have. I think. 0:

Can you make it compatibility with AntiCheat? because players cannot jumping because anticheat kick him for "flying" =3
Regarding Peace Armor, seems as if iron golems attack players wearing a peace armor.
