I think it would be nice if you could make it so that if i gave say an admin, or a mod an extra permission they could be granted different values for their weopas. so, for example, i could make it so mods would run faster, jump higher, and what not. also, i think it would be nice if i could set the run weopa or jump weopa to 0 and then set a setting so that once i have a full set of gear i would then be grated some value. that way i would have the option to not allow people to mix and match gear pieces. (only when they have a full set will they be given a bonus) I love that you are doing this though. As of right now this is the only armor mod that is really worth anything. It would be lovely if you find the time to do these things and even possibly add something to make gold tools worth using. ;)
oh and i am sure you could find something fun you could do with pumpkin helmets! XD
Haha yeah I run a home server too and I made this specifically for me but it turned out really well so I released it here and figured I will keep adding to it for you guys. I think it adds a whole new element to the game that people aren't used to which is good. I like the battlemage armor idea but I don't know how hard that would actually be to code ( I will look into it ). For now I will work on fixing the chat spam and world support but after I will be adding new abilities that sound good. So far new abilities I plan on adding are "DOVE" [mobs have no agro to people with the armor] and "BLINK" [ can teleport a certain number of blocks ahead of them while running ] Thanks for your comment.
Thanks for the feedback. I'm in the process of trying to get rid of the fire that is created on the ground but it is completely harmless. It is just a fire effect, not an actual fire ( it does no damage and doesn't spread ) but I still find it annoying. Not sure what you meant by "Just thought I would let you know the spam isnt fixed due to the msg saying it should be right above the option to turn chat off" but I am in the process of fixing spammed messages as well as adding an option to completely disable messages from the plugin. Will work on getting these fixed as soon as possible. Thanks
just found a bug....if a player gets struck by lightning and the fire stays on the block...it doesn't go away for either a really really long time or just doesn't....I broke the block and the fire vanished yet when players walked into where the fire and block used to be they were catching fire. I put the block back where it was and the fire comes back. I really just don't like this lightning. Now its basically a griefing tool so I have to take the perm away from everyone. Because the only way to get rid of the fire is to place a block on it. I don't want to spend hours getting rid of the fire that people have stuck down onto tons of blocks in pvp or from the clever griefer who realizes this will let him grief even in protected regions. I think the lightning has to go. I don't let fire spread on my server and I wonder if this fire would spread if I did allow it too as well. If not the above problems are still enough to keep me from allowing people to use it so I will keep trying to think of ideas to replace this one. I mean the lightning is loud its distracting when players don't know whats going on and is just really overpowerd...like someone in this armor is invincable. everytime someone attacks them they die instead.
Sorry for the duel long posts but i get passionate about testing plugins that I really love. I just discovered that the spam issue is still not fixed and I noticed the disable chat is in the works. Just thought I would let you know the spam isnt fixed due to the msg saying it should be right above the option to turn chat off. Again thanks for making this cool as heck plugin.
Love the plugin...most spam is fixed but when you are in lava with the diamond suit it spams the hell out of the user with the msg and doesnt drop the time...just keeps saying you lava armor has 8 seconds in lava before you burn up. over and over. Happened the old version but still happens now that I update. Im not giving my users the chain mail because its kind easy to grief when in pvp with the spam of lightning to anyone who dmgs the wearer. Ive tried coming up with other ideas but the only one I could think of is incorporating something like the popluar command that comes with many other plugins.... /jump but rather than letting the user jump to where ever he is looking make it so each peice of armor will let him blink forward so many blocks. Of course the distance could be configurable and I wouldnt know what to add for the full suit. It would be like battlemage gear ya know. Chain either gets me thinking of battlemages or hunter/ranger kinda thing anyway I was hoping you would do something along the lines of range abilites with it. I know its kinda limited as to what you can do but I will keep thinking on it and adding any ideas I can. Thank you so much for making this plugin all my users say its one of the things that keeps them coming back to my new server that doesnt have very many people for them to play with so I need things like this lol.

Yes to both of those. Because all abilities ( except rage armor ) are set to default, everyone will automatically get all abilities but if you want a group to NOT have an ability, you will need to define it in the permissions.
Example: With PermissionsBukkit, I write:
armorabilities.nofall: false
Which will make all members of that group not have the nofall ability.
And yes all armors can be switched around ( like having gold as the leather ability ) and to have no ability for an armor type just leave it blank.

I was actually planning on it. I just wanted to get the full working version out there. I like the rage armor a lot. Its cool seeing things get struck down by lightning when they attack you. And thanks, I'm glad you like it! I will be working on it more over time and as new suggestions and bugs come in.
Gold Armor bonus fails for a lot of things. Need to look into that... And ya didn't know about that. Will definitely do world support when I fix the bugs soon
