xaHChat Bridge

Description

xaHChat is a Minecraft Social Network that brings servers and players together with news feeds and chat, both ingame chat and on the android platform. The aim of this plugin is to make a social network with all the servers that install this plugin. To be more social ingame and out, more features will be added soon like the ability to private messages anyone and then that person will get that private message on his phone and even while he is playing in game you can have a private conversation. Phone to server to player private conversions are not implemented yet but keep an eye out.

Ever wanted to be able to chat with your friends even when they are ingame on one or another server? Ever wanted to know what server they are on and join them in the fun without having to ask them explicitly where they are? Ever wanted to have your minecraft community grow and behave like a social network? Introducing xaHChat the all new way of chatting with players that is online in a game or just on their phones while they are away from the house. It has a really nice interface and is super easy to use.

How to participate

To participate in this minecraft social network all you have to do is install the plugin in the plugin folder start your server up and shut it down again then edit the generated config.yml file insdie of the xaHChat Bridge\ folder. this is the contents of of the default config:

Change the Server name and your server's address or domain. Or if you dont want to advertise your server address this line can also be a "status" line or a TAG line.

Once you have setup the config file please restart your server and it will connect to our servers and publish your server for all too see. Everyone would then be able to connect to your server and chat on it as if it is a group chat they will interact with the ingame players and with everyone else that has entered the room. If however you want your server chat to remain private please set a serverPassword and they will have to enter a password to be able to connect and chat on your server!! Its that simple.

Why you should use this

Join the minecraft social network and make your voices heard! This is going to be great fun :) New exciting features will appear in the future and the client app although only available on android at present might be available on your hand held in the future if there is enough requests for it. So what are you waiting for?
