RespawnItems
Install the plugin, set up the config and have every player get the items every time they spawn! It's really that simple!
Features:
- Set armour as well
- The ability to set all 36 slots of the inventory
- Any item, any block
Commands:
- /si - Bring up the help menu
- /si help - Also bring up the menu
- /si reload - Reload plugin configuration
Configuration:
The plugin is very easily configurable with only a few numeric values needing to be added.
Now remember, the config is a YAML file which means NO TABS! At all! If you include any tabs, the plugin will break. To check that your config is working, simply paste the contents into this website: http:yaml-online-parser.appspot.com
If you put the name of the items, they won't work. You have to put the numeric item ID for each item. For a list of all of the item ID's you can have as well as the possible data values, visit this page: http:www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Data_value
Enchantments don't work yet. When Enchantment support is added, more information regarding setup will be added here.
Coming soon:
- Enchantments on any item, even armour
- Permissions support
- Multiple sets of items
@georgaki
To be honest, probably not. I haven't really looked at this project in a while and I think the API has changed and broken most of it. In a month or so I'm going to go through and do a massive updating spree on all of my plugins.
Does this work for 1.7.2?
Would be awesome to set up XP, health and hunger... so everybody can enchant instantly or is already hungry. (nice for adventure maps)
And "Multiple sets of items" sounds cool, too ;)
Can't wait for an update!

For keeping an item at all times... I have a compass set as Item 1, I want to know if there is a way to toggle whether I can drop that one item (Q). So, be able to drop whatever I want except for the 'Compass'.
"""Or if I drop the compass, for the plugin to automatically give me a new one, or I guess put it back."""
I mainly use this because I cannot get players a compass for Compass Navigation.

I can add in permissions support if you want. I can also add multiple sets of items and a way to just save an inventory in Minecraft to the config file.
What do you mean by keep an item at all times? It would be rather difficult to do really.
Is there a plan on releasing an updated version with permission support? And maybe even a way to configure everything in minecraft?
Also, is there any way to set certain items to remain in your inventory at all times? It's really hard to find another plugin that is like this.
@Stoops420
Hmm. That seems like it would be rather tricky to handle. However, I shall see if I can get it implemented.
Is it possible to detect whether or not the player already HAS that loadout (i.e. player only lost SOME items on death but retained pieces of the respawn gear)?
I run a hardcore server where player death is common, and loot is hard to come across, so upon death they have a chance to lose a variable amount of randomly chosen gear. It is totally possible that a player may die AND drop items, but not necessarily his armor or weapon. What I'm hoping is that on the occasion a player does lose a weapon, or a piece of his armor that this plugin would step in and provide them with the equivalent piece from my respawn loadout.
Well done so far.
