Hey!

Today I want to present you my new Plugin. It is called MusicPlayer and it can play Music in your Minecraft! There are no client mods or client modifications needed!

Installation:

Download this plugin and copy it in your plugins folder too!
Restart or Reload the server. But stop, it actually dont work now. It automatically downloaded the NoteBlockAPI. You need to reload/restart the server for a second time.
Than you need music for the Plugin
Direct download link: puu.sh/j8HWv/73969047ca.zip.
After that, you have to copy the music to plugins/MusicPlayer/songs/"HERE" please also check, that you downloaded .nbs files. (.nbs = NoteBlockStudio)

listen to a random playlist.

You can find music for the player here: and scroll a bit down to Note Blocks Songs

Plans for the next version

- play songs after a special event like attacking a mob/player - play songs at a specified time.

Commands & Permissions

Player Commands:

/play - for a list of all songs
/play <song | random> <-all> - To play a (random) song (to all players).
/stopsong - To stop a song
/songs - To see wich player is listening to wich song.

musicplayer.play.all
musicplayer.playlist.random
musicplayer.stopsong
musicplayer.songs

My players cant open the music player menu their permissions are

- musicplayer.play.self
- musicplayer.playlist.random
- musicplayer.songs
- musicplayer.stopsong

Hey could you make it so you can select a world that the music plays in like i spawn in one world and music is playing then i teleport to another world and no music plays that would be great! Thanks!

Just type this code from your keyboard "&".

This code can replace this code "§".

what is the format for color codes when it it tells the player what song is playing? I had this '§' but it would show question boxes with the color code number and when i used '&' it did the same thing but instead said like &7[chat] or §7[chat] and it is all in white. Please help.

I don't get any config folder and can't do any commands. Yes, i've restarted the server 2 times!

I have error =( "Could not load 'plugins/MusicPlayer_v.1.2.x.jar' in folder 'plugins'' Probably problem with java, i use java 7

A command to launch the next song could be cool. Also, if we can just start song and then all song will be playing one at the time could be fun :D Finally, the music.play is the only permissions who doesn't work on my server (spigot 1.8.5)

Is it possible to give to this plugin abit more RPG experience? I mean for example I want to make music to play automatically when a player joins and I don't want it to show them info or to will be able to stop it without a perm, and the most important part is that i want to make a different track to play at night and a different one at night: check this one:

It would be awesome, all those of course can be in configuration, like:

music-play-automatically=true Conditions=true music-at-day=<songname> music-at-night=<songname> music-at-cave=<songname> music-in-battle-mob=<songname> music-in-battle-player-=<songname>

The two needed conditions are the day and night, the other ones are just suggestions. If you can do that I would really appreciate it

Hi, I've put the two plugins in my plugin folder, reload the game, then the plugin works fine. But there wasn't any "Songs" folder in the plugin folder... So I created one ! Then I put a song in there and I did "/musicplayer reloadsongs" wich works fine, but they said it was no songs ! Please help me ! Can't find out the problem !

Please excuse me for the mistakes... I'm french.

hi, getting "Could not load 'plugins/MusicPlayer.jar' " error. NoteBlockAPI is loaded ok.

server is running CraftBukkit version git-Spigot-e497721-96d09e3 (MC: 1.8) (Implementing API version 1.8-R0.1-SNAPSHOT)

Get a list of players, that are hearing to a song. -> DONE (v.1.0.4 beta)

should be: that are hearing a song.
or
that are listening to a song.
etc.
