Mini Items
Mini Items, is a plugin that allows you to spawn miniature versions of certain blocks, with a command. There's a few examples of the certain blocks that you can spawn above. The reason why I made this plugin was because, recently I saw that a few people had bought Minecraft accounts, JUST to use the heads as custom blocks in game and since some of my players had already started using these, I thought I would make it a little easier for them, so I made this plugin which would spawn the heads for them, by using a command.
How to install Mini Items
- Download the plugin and put it into your plugins folder.
- Restart your server.
- You're done.
Adding new items
- Go into plugins/MiniItems
- Open config.yml
- Go to the very bottom and add the following
- - <command line name>,<Username>,<Item Name>
How to use Mini Items
- Go in game and type the following.
- /mi list - This will give you a full list of the items that you can spawn.
- Then write /mi <item> <amount> - To spawn the miniature version of the item you want.
Permissions
miniitems.spawn - Allows a player to spawn the items. Using /mi <item>
miniitems.list - Allows a player to list the items. Using /mi <list>
Feature / Non Feature list
- You CAN spawn these blocks with a command.
- You CAN list these blocks with a command.
- You CAN give people a permission to be able to use the command.
- You CAN give people OP to be able to use the commands.
- You CAN NOT craft these blocks.

The problem is that the default getConfig(). save defaults saves the file as ASCII. However, on a windows machine this will be converted to UTF-8 as soon as there is a unicode char present in the file. On an Ubuntu machine this does not happen.

It's fairly odd, because I've both tested the plugin on my test server, which is a windows box and on my main server, which is an ubuntu box :/, but I'll have a look at it once I have more time.

On windows:
- Save the file as UTF-8
On linux:
@pluginauthor: You should force a save to UTF-8 since OS's such as Ubuntu auto save as ASCII. But I think the missing character is an UTF-8 char.

My config is empty, that's what it generates with. An empty config.

Have you edited the config file? You might of done something wrong. You might have to delete the config file and then reload your server, there shouldn't be anything wrong with it :)

Posted Dec 13, 2013Hi, every time I try to use /mi (item) it says that the item doesn't exist. For example, '/mi (item) 1' just doesn't work. It just says that it isn't a valid item. Do you know how to fix this?
