Hungergames - PvP Deathmatch

Hungergames Beta 0.9 Changelog and upcoming features

Features:

  • Requires a world as "playground"
  • Admins can set up spawnpoints and a lobby inside of this world
  • No blocks can be placed and only one type of blocks can be destroyed in this particular world
  • Players can /hungergames join the game, which will teleport them to the lobby and clear their inventory. Even if they die there, they simply respawn inside
  • When enough players (>=2) have joined, an admin can /hungergames start the game. All joined players are teleported to the respective spawn locations set up by an admin
  • When someone dies, a lightning strikes at their deathspot and a custom deathmessage is sent
  • If there are 5 (configurable) or less players alive, their position is reveleaed by a lightining every 15s
  • When only one player is alive, the game ends and a serverbroadcast announces the winner

Other Features:

  • Admins can change spawnpoints and lobby locations ingame on the fly, no restart or reload is required
  • Plugin should work with every 'maxplayers' setting, but too many slots will cause laggs. I tested with 24 slots and 14 players, which worked fine

Commands

Permissions:

  • hungergames.* Gives acces to all Hungergames commands. Default: OP
  • hungergames.player Gives acces to join, leave and list commands. Default: Not OP
  • hungergames.admin Gives acces to start , stop and setspawn commands

Beta Status: At the moment some text is hardcoded into the code!
