Frisk
By request from user: ImCradzz. Has some similarities to http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/friskstick/ (which I didn't realise existed during development), but doesn't require a config file and confiscates all illegal items (not just 64). Also doesn't damage either player, regardless of frisk result.
Introduction
Frisk is an advanced new plugin that supports customizable lists of 'illegal' items which can be used in conjunction with the stick tool, which allows mods, admins and policing users to quickly and easily search users at the click of a button. Illegal items are quickly confiscated and frisking does not harm the user. A comprehensive report is supplied to the 'cop', giving a compact summary of the type of illegal item found and the amount. All illegal items are removed from the user's inventory and transferred to the cop. Frisk supports permissions and commands to make it easy to use and configurable. Precise data values are stored for improved accuracy.
Commands
- /fsadd — Adds the currently held item to the illegal items list
- /fsremove — Removes the currently held item from the list
- /fsreset — Clears the illegal item list
Permissions
- /fsadd — frisk.add
- /fsremove — frisk.remove
- /fsreset — frisk.reset
- Use of Stick tool — frisk.allow
- Use of Blaze Rod tool— frisk.reload
Reloading config
You can easily reload the configuration by hitting any player with a blaze rod or using /reload to reload all plugins. This is only necessary if you are restoring a backup of the .bin file that Frisk uses.
Viewing the current list of illegal items
The plugin outputs it's current database of illegal items upon startup in the console. To view these simply do a reload and check the console logs.

If you could explain how cops can use the frisk stick. If you could make a video that would be preferable however an explanation will do just as well.
Would love to see an update for this plugin! ;D
Hello Developer (lol768)
I would like to ask for you to fix this plugin so if the player has a full inventory of drugs and the cop with the frisk stick has full inv that it will drop the player with drugs spare drugs on the ground Example:
Guy is running really fast to sell his drugs.
Cop sees him and realizes his inventory is full
Cop frisk's him and left over drugs that wont fit in his inventory go onto the fround so the cop can pick them up later
WOuld you like to update this to 1.5.1? I need some kind of police plugin to my RP server.
This only finds items some times... really buggy D:
I put this on my server, it said I was an illegal item and banned me!!
Since the other frisk plugin is never updated, could u make a toggle jail option, where if it finds drugs, it automatically takes the items AND jails the player for a set time (in the config if jail is set to true, next to Time: is an integer for seconds, and it jails them for that long.)
Would be great. Thanks :)
Can you make this hook into worldguard and give the option to 'frisk' players only if they are in non-pvp areas
Also does this plugin log every frisk? Who frisked who and what was taken at what time?
@ryanloder Done.
Can you put in a cool down time that can be specified in the config please.
@PremiumHHH
Easy mistake to make :)
Oh, no I wasn't thanks. :D
@PremiumHHH
Are you holding it in your hand when you use the command? What messages do you get in the console when the plugin starts up?
Hey Craddz, I try to add sugar It says it adds "grass"
@devilquak
Thanks!
@Huggzorx
Hmm, I have no idea. It depends how the Tekkit items are stored within Bukkit.
I believe it should, but give it a go and tell me!
Sounds awesome! Will this work for non-vanilla Minecraft items? (Tekkit items etc.)
This is actually a really good idea. I don't really have a use for it but it should be much more popular.
@dchaosknight
I can understand that, I'm working on adding some sort of config to allow tweaking of these settings. It would have saved me some work if the user who requested this actually searched and found your version first (which is more mature). Both plugins are open-source, so I can hopefully learn from your code as well.
"Also doesn't damage either player"
Yeah, I only did that because of request.
