Seems like a cool idea. I'll either try and implement it when I get back to this after my exams, or you can suggest it to whoever (if anyone) takes over this project.
This looks amazing, mind if I make a suggestion for a future release?
Make it possible to specify specific worlds and allow those worlds' monsters to gain the specified XP drops.
Basically, I'm using multiverse, and here's the run down of my worlds:
one world is an easy difficulty world, so I want the XP drops to be low
one world is a medium difficulty world, so a little higher than the easy world
the last world is very hard, so monsters dropping extra XP would be cool
there is something with the plugin i dont know really know what is going on but is not working at all any features = not working when i kill any mob dosent matter which one is still the default xp dropped by those mobs i cannot change it i tryed on a clear server without any plugins...you know from what is this from?
Thanks for testing that, I had a feeling it wouldn't work. I used the old method of executing commands. Quite a lot of other plugins add some variation of that command now though, so I'll just remove it and get working on permissions. The rest of the plugin isn't working simply because of the command, that happened once before. I won't be able to fix it this week (Got a university interview to prepare for), but the source file is in the jar file. If you want to fix it yourself until I release a working version, just open ExpPluginMain.java and remove the whole onCommand() method, and recompile.
Look at this error when i type /exp and something more i want to add the Plugin is not working maybe is not compatible with one plugin that i've got honestly i didnt tryed it on a Clear server but at least find out why at me it dosent work thats the error.

(EDIT) i tryed with a vanila CB 1.1-R3 and still not working anything at all like the /exp command or gain experience from mobs i hope i've been helpfull
hehe np, i was just confused
the sort question is just because some admins use other tools
like me the SpawnerAdjuster "and" the different mobs are different to hunt
so some of them only spawn in Nether or such things
i posted my exp numbers as example just to explain what i mean
No idea about conflicting with Essentials, I haven't used their API at all, just the Bukkit API. I only put 1000 as a starting figure, I kind of assumed that people would edit this themselves instead of leaving it as what I set... Also, as I've said many times before, some people say the plugin is working perfectly, some seem to not be able to get it to work, so I have no idea what the problem could be if people just say "It doesn't work. Fix it." without giving a list of other plugins they're using. Seriously, you have no idea how frustrating that is. I added the new mobs in this build, the Bukkit API had issues with MagmaCubes when I made 1.5, and I totally forgot about the villagers :P Either way, try 2.0 when I upload it, 1.9 has a couple of bugs I didn't notice at first.
LOL sorry, DeathPlugin is another plugin I made for my server, I just blindly copied my config code from that plugin when I broke it for this one. I'll fix this and arrange the list like you wanted (I was going to put it in some sort of order when I had time), and release 2.0. I'll fix the EnderDragon experience to 20,000 as default as well if people are actually getting annoyed about that.
Wow, sorry I haven't been on the bukkitDev page for a while.
@goakiller900 : Slimes may be bugged, I haven't set which size drops how much experience yet. Try another mob before you say it's not working at all though, it's still working for some people.
@IDaThunkIt : Not sure, I'm working on a version for 1.1, so I'll take a look and see if I get any errors from the previous version.
@Mechanic1c : This may be a dumb question, but did you restart your server after editing the config files? Or at least do /reload?
@razerwashere : Yeah, I know, I was wondering when somebody would test it with the latest version, I thought my server had crashed before I remembered I had updated it. Like I said, I'm working on a release for 1.1, but I have exams atm, so I'm not working on it that often.
That should answer all the questions I've missed. :P
Aw, FRICK! I have another problem. After finally finding out that it creates that properties file, I edited it and saved it with the settings I want it to have. So, I go on to my server, spawn a chicken, and it doesn't drop and EXP when I said it should. Help please?

does this work for .1.3.2 ?
@Qwahchees
The source is in the jar file (Open with winRAR or whatever). Feel free to continue this, just give credit where credit is due ;)
I should be working on plugins around July (End of exams).

This will be my last post until July.
Any source code so I can continue development?

@Luxius96
As I've said to multiple people, read the previous posts, I've added giant in the past and it had issues, I'm trying to sort that out.
EDIT
Ok, I just quickly removed the command and fixed the plugin directory to say ExpPlugin instead of DeathPlugin. Uploading now.
Can you add Giant?

v1.9 create a folder named "DeathPlugin" ?!
why not "ExpPlugin" ?
i was confused while searching for the config file
and pls sort by "type" like this :
Using Bukkit 1.1-R1
Using this version of the plugin: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/25190352/ExpPlugin.jar (the refered above as CurrentVersion )
Got the plugin working using the standard instalation method . . .
.jar in plugins folder. > start server > stop server.
edit config > start server > it works
But seems to miss a lot of mobs. (Slimes, Magma-Cubes, Enderdragon, ... , etc )
Tried using the 1.5 version from the thread: ttp://dl.dropbox.com/u/25190352/ExpPlugin_1.5.jar
I have 3 problems:
And a little more feedback, Enderdragon default Exp drop is 20000, lowering it to 1000 is a bit too much :(
The default experience drop list can be found http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Experience

This was broken with the latest RB of bukkit. Mobs are dropping their default XP, no errors in the config.
