Hey there! CastleRush is a gamemode where two teams (with one or more players per team) fight against each other with building a jump and run, a labyrinth etc. on their plot. At the end of a certain amount of time both teams have to capture the plot of the other team. The player who breaks the wool block at first wins the game.

I modified this idea and added support for up to 8 teams with an infinite amount of players per team!

Usage

  1. Setup the plugin as described below
  2. Go to the "plugin" folder and search the "CastleRush" folder. Now you can edit the config.yml to configure the plugin
  3. Go ingame and create an external world where the arena can be. If you already have a world, skip part 3-5.
  4. Check that the arena isn't in the world "world", "world_the_nether" and "world_the_end"
  5. The world must have a template world. Use "/cr template "worldName" to add one.
  6. Type "/cr arena create [arenaName]" to start creating an arena. You'll now have a tool in your inventory.
  7. Use the spawnpoint tool to set the spawnpoint.
  8. Use the walls tool to mark two locations. Now type "/cr cache addwall" to add the wall. Repeat this number how often you want.
  9. Use the plot tool to mark two locations. The first location is any location on the plot and the second is the material of the border. (Works with floodfill: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floodfill). Now type "/cr cache addplot" to add the plot with your current location as spawn. Repeat this number how often you want.
  10. Put all items in your inventory which the players should have in their inventory during the capture phase. Leave the last slot in your hotbar blank. Now type "/cr cache setkit".
  11. Type "/cr cache finish" to finish the creating. If you want to edit an arena type "/cr arena edit [arenaName]" and repeat everything but the creating of a new world.
  12. Your arena is now created. Place now two signs. One to join a server, one to create a lobby. (The signs mustn't be in the same world as the arena)
  13. Join sign: 1. Line: "[CR]" 2.: "join"
  14. Create sign: 1.: "[CR]" 2.: "create"
  15. Create a lobby. Rightclick the "Create Sign" and choose a game type & the arena.
  16. Now any player can join the lobby.

Setup

  1. Download the .jar file
  2. Stop the server
  3. Put this file into your plugins folder
  4. Get sure that the server runs with Spigot/Bukkit 1.8+ and with Java 8+
  5. Start the server .. and done. A folder called CastleRush should now exist in the plugins folder.
