PlayerParticles
PlayerParticles has moved to Spigot. Please download the plugin from https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/playerparticles.40261/ for now on. Newer versions will no longer be uploaded here.
PlayerParticles is great to use as a VIP perk and is EULA friendly! Your players will love the amount of customization that is available for them!
The plugin wiki can be found here: https://github.com/Esophose/PlayerParticles/wiki
Permission details can be found in the wiki here: https://github.com/Esophose/PlayerParticles/wiki/Permissions
The GUI provides ease-of-access for your users. Simply typing /pp will open the GUI and bring them to a menu where they can edit their particles. If you are using the plugin for a server lobby, you can bind the /pp gui command to an item using a different plugin.
The section below contains a GIF of all styles currently available in the plugin. Please note that all styles are compatible with all particle effects, meaning there are thousands of combinations. I only show one effect per style in the GIFs below. While most of the GIFs only show the particles around a player, the majority of them can also be placed around blocks.
Arrows
Batman
Beam
BlockBreak
BlockPlace
Celebration
Chains
Companion
Cube
Feet
Halo
Hurt
Invocation
Move
Normal
Orbit
Overhead
Point
Popper
Pulse
Quadhelix
Rings
Sphere
Spin
Spiral
Swords
Thick
Twins
Vortex
Whirl
Whirlwind
Wings
PlayerParticles will check for an update each time your server starts. The plugin .jar will never be downloaded, OPs will get a notification in chat when they log in if an update is available. PlayerParticles will also send metrics about your server anonymously through bStats.
Update checking can be turned off by setting check-updates to false in the config.yml. Metrics can be turned off by setting send-metrics to false in the config.yml.
If a player has their particle settings (In Options > Video Settings) set to minimal they will be unable to see most particles displayed. I am unable to fix this since it is purely client side.
I will only help you with errors you are having if you are running the latest version of the plugin and are running a supported version of Minecraft!

In reply to Forge_User_07862005:
The latest version of PlayerParticles does not support Minecraft 1.8. You need to use 1.9 or greater, sorry.
I cant give other players particle because they dont have permission?? How do I give them permissions
In reply to Forge_User_43528656:
You give them permission through a permissions plugin, such as LuckPerms. You can find the permission nodes in the plugin description above.
how do i set particles on a block ?
In reply to Forge_User_49048782:
Use the "/pp fixed" command.
Hey Esophose! Player Particles is great and does everything it needs to, but I noticed something that was posted as a fix for version 4.5 "Fix issue with the style 'halo' that caused 10 errors per second to be printed to the config. These were listed as "java.lang.NullPointerException" or "Task #### for PlayerParticles generated an exception". Thanks to everybody who helped find this error. (It's been in the plugin for over 6 months somehow)" may be back with version 6.4.
There are 10 errors per second with Task#4641->Task#4649 for PlayerParticles v6.4 generated an exception. I am running Paper Spigot for 1.13.2, wondering if there was an easy way to fix this so it isnt cluttering the logs, everything seems to be working properly regardless.
Thanks!
In reply to ByNotify:
Hey, this will be fixed in the next update. It's caused by the celebration and arrows style in 1.14+.
"An internal error occurred while attempting to perform this command"
Does this plugin require another?
In reply to viictorhlkq:
No, it's standalone.
I released a Hotfix update for v6.3 to fix the encoding of the fr_FR.lang file to Spigot. If you use this file and need the accented characters fixed, download it from here: https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/playerparticles.40261/update?update=263612
PlayerParticles v6.0 has been released and will be available for download once approved, enjoy!
EDIT: Approved!
How do you set playerpermissions? I have a server and I dont want to OP everyone but I want them to have access to the particle gui. I have searched through the config.
