ZeldaHearts
ZeldaHearts
Description
ZeldaHearts basicly adds a new Heart gaining system to Minecraft.
When you join the first time you'll have a configurable amount of hearts, but beating specific mobs can get you Heart containers, which give you more hearts! You can also recover some health by collecting Hearts, which are dropped by Mobs you've killed.
To spawn in Heart Canisters/Hearts, please install Slimefun
When you have enabled thief-mode in the Config, you can also "steal" other Players 1 of their Hearts by killing them, however if they have only a few Hearts you cannot.

Auto-Updater and Metrics
All my Plugins are using an Auto-Updater to make sure, you're always
using the latest and hopefully most bug free version of my Plugin.
If you don't want this Plugin to be auto-updated, you can turn it off
in the config file at "options -> auto-update: true/false"
They also use a Metrics-System which collects the following Informations:
A unique identifier
The server's version of Java
Whether the server is in offline or online mode
The plugin's version
The server's version
The OS version/name and architecture
The core count for the CPU
The number of players online
The Metrics version
Opting out of this service can be done by editing
plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.
@DrkMatr1984
Did u fix this bug? Please help if u did
@PgBiel
And it's been 10 times that I said it isn't caused by ZeldaHearts, its another Plugin causing that.
@TheBusyBiscuit
Please, fix it! It's happening for me too! They relog and health is reset! It's been months that you were advised that...
@TheBusyBiscuit
This is happening for me also...
This is happening to me aswell, whenever someone relogs it resets all their hearts. Plz fix D:
Well, there's a problem, every time my hearts go all the way up to the max health, it just goes back to 10 hearts. How do I fix?
Edit - MassiveCore conflicts with this.
@TheBusyBiscuit
Yeah sure, I'll PM you.
@DrkMatr1984
Not happening for me. It does get saved in the player.dat file btw. Can you maybe post your Config and a list of all your Plugins?
yeah i tried that too :/ im sure its something with my server
i just balance it out by not having giants be spawn in the world and made the mobs stronger :)
great plugin really love it. Really changes fighting style its lot more like rpg game now.
@TheBusyBiscuit
Hey! We've been enjoying ZeldaHearts on MyekaanCraft.com lately, but we found a bug. With the latest version, if a player logs out and back in, they lose all their extra heart containers. :( I'm not sure if this was intended, but if it is, can you add a toggle in the config? If not you may have to set up player data saving in yml files to record how many hearts each player has. Previously we used EXPHealth, which recalculated the health on login, so this wasn't needed. But it seems with your plugin it is. Thanks!
@Moonknight8877
Did you make sure the Server was offline when you tried to edit the Config...?
i cant change anything in the config
like max heart number
or disabling canister drop from giant by removing giant in the config
its 1.8 spigot
@TheBusyBiscuit Sorry for late reply, I've tested the lasted version of Slimefun in my 1.7.2 R0.2 server and it works SMOOTHLY ! Thanks for your great plugins! mrCookieSlime!
@TheBusyBiscuit
OK , I understand. But can you do Slimefun for 1.7.2...... Or maybe...... it works with 1.7.2? Please tell me! Thanks
@Forcelydated
Well, without Slimefun you cannot spawn hearts/heart canisters in. And they will also not generate in Loot Chests from MagicLoot if you dont have Slimefun installed.
@TheBusyBiscuit
If I don't have SlimeFun, what can't I do with ZeldaHearts ?
@kahlilnc
No sorry, I wont add support for configuring the amount of hearts which wil get healed when picking up a heart. And yes, it is probably because of your CB Version.
Uhm you probably already heard someone ask but can you add support for how many hearts they are getting per pick up (heal wise too)? And when I pick up a heart it doesn't quite work till i relog and when i do relog I have max amount of hearts. Could it possible be because of the CB version i am using?
@DerekZil
You can just set the start and max amount of hearts to 10, meaning it will always stay 10.
Can you just make it so mobs just drop a heart, and not change the players max health?
