What is the enhancement in mind?
Could you add a setting, perhaps in the entities or similar config that would allow zombies to open wooden doors when they are about to be destroyed rather than being destroyed or restoring the damage marks that build up on it.

This will allow for maps to have a very strong cod-zombies-like style of play and allow for more strategies like spamming with arrows whilst the door is closed, hacking when it busts open and remembering to close it again when entities are gone.

It would also be great if the amount the door is damaged is configurable or even other mobs to damage doors. Ive been searching around for a while trying to get anything like this to work, my best solution was to give players doors with a protection plugin so that they can only be placed in specific spots but that seems a bit fiddly for what its worth.

I'd be pleased to hear any suggestions or maybe theres something much simpler Im doing wrong. Let me hear some thoughts.

I found a workaround, made a trip wire with a 10 second delay to an AND gate which will then open the door if the wire is still tripped. not perfect but it dos the job nicely.

Your talking like Barricades Correct?.. Rather then the door idea. i would say go with how monster Apocalypse does it Mobs in that plugin will actually break blocks! makes a very interesting day.. lol And with that way you could tell players wooden planks to replace barricades. Doors are overrated.
