What is the enhancement in mind? How should it look and feel?
Add a feature to disable players from generating terrains outside of set border.

Please provide any additional information below.
I had set the padding to 208 as recommended (default 208, should keep any more chunks from being generated by players) but that doesn't seem enough, neither does a padding of 500 as down in the screen shot linked below.

Those little "fingers" don't even look natural; they don't fit in with the terrain they're attached to.

Can you send me the map seed and border info via a PM or maybe just a link to the dynmap page?

This would also be nice as a feature, as I think it would be nicer for the world to simply just 'end' at the border. Means players can easily see it, rather than an invisible border. Also means that you don't have to worry about pushing players and entities back in.

I'd been led to believe that preventing chunks from generating didn't work properly as the client would simply spam requests for the chunk to the server, causing various problems. However, it seems there is another plugin which does prevent new chunks from being generated named NoNewChunk, so those problems may not actually exist.

I'll try to set aside some time in future to look into this and evaluate it to see how well it works and whether it causes any performance problems and so forth.
