This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

In just less than 100 lines of code, WillowDrop is a simple, configurable, and lightweight drop party solution. Upon command, it can drop an item at every players' feet. For each player, it chooses a number between 1 and 10 randomly and drops the configured corresponding item for them. It tells them the item shortly before giving it and announces an item has been dropped to everyone. It's a great way to get lots of players on if you tell them in advance and make them enjoy your server even more.

Commands and Permissions

WD has only 1 command, /drop, which drops an item to EVERYONE online. WD has only 1 permission, therefor, which is WillowDrop.drop.

Configuring WillowDrop

After downloading and installing WillowDrop, restarting your server will generate the configuration file. Only edit the actual item name you wish to be dropped. Only one of the item will be dropped, if chosen. You can change the corresponding message for each item in the bottom section, but make sure each message is in quotes. If any field is missing, it will be filled with the default item or message.

Bugs and Issues

No known bugs! Issue: At times, items won't drop directly underneath a player, perhaps a block away. Issue: If you have something like skyblock or prison on the same server as Survival (where you'd sensibly be dropping things), it'd be wise to close the other servers while you do /drop so players not in survival don't get items that aren't fair.
