Whitelist - Simple Whitelisting for all!
What is a whitelist? A whitelist is a list that only lets people join your server if they are on it. Why use this plugin over the default whitelist? You can customise it to how YOU want. Limit what players can and cannot whitelist certain players and much more!
What does this plugin do?
Provides a whitelist that can be used to only allow certain players to join. Slows down griefers as they have to apply for the whitelist beforehand. Its simple and easy to configure, just drag and drop into your plugins folder then start the server and let the config and whitelist be created. Configure it to how to like then get.... whitelisting!

Does this plugin support Minecraft player UUIDs?
out of date
reloading the plugin doesnt read the new content of config.yml. Restart of server is needed still.
What is "/whitelist reload" made for?
How would i make it add another line to the dissconect reason? i want it to say
We are currently updating our server, Please return later. 2 lines
Hey man, how is the update going?
Yes :) There will be an update in a day or two addressing basic issues.
When will it be avaliable for 1.4.7 or 1.5??
Hey everyone! Sorry I've been SO inactive lately! I've had so much school work + exams etc. I'm now getting back into coding etc, so I'll have time to update this plugin AND make new awesome ones :)
@Thechegga - Yes that is one of the features I can work on! :)
AltF4Destroy - I'll be fixing many issues with it soon, thanks for your comment :)
@Iaintee, do you think you can add the possibility to say that only cracked players have to be on the Whitelist? I mean, that cracked users can't join with a Premisum user name, only with a name which is in the Whitelist??
Used to love this plugin, and still do - but it seems to need some updating. Vault is in, Bukkit is on, and the /whitelist add/remove feature works fine, but the on/off commands do not. Also, the config file is not really being generated... just adding to whitelist.txt in the root server folder. Hopefully an update soon! Thanks!
Using the /whitelist command add, will add the name to the white-list.txt file that the server uses. not the one that the plugin uses. This might be because the plugin never get the command passed to it, because the server already just handled it, looks like there is now a duplicate /whitelist command.
This is what I have noticed. Trying to update my server from 1.3.2 to 1.4.5
can you make it so you don't need vault
Can you make the white-list query the mysql server AFTER the ban checks?
Currently when a player is banned by name or IP, the database is queried and whitelist displayed allow/deny msg. Then the player/log will see the ban hammer message.
Not quite sure what you're asking for
New version will officially support 1.4.2 and should fix any vault and 1.4.2 related issues.
Honestly don't see the point in that permission, surely you could just add the names to the whitelist.txt instead of having to hand them permissions?
New version out within the next few days, been really busy with exams.
I tried this on Bukkit 1.4.2, and it does not work. It shows me on the Whitelist on my server, but it still kicks me when I sign on saying I'm not on the Whitelist. I don't know if this is an incompatibility with Vault or this plugin since neither officially support 1.4.2, but its something you should probably look into. I'd be happy to help if there's any way I can debug this problem since this is the type of plugin I need. :)
EDIT: So, adding users to the whitelist.txt works, but using /whitelist add does not. Maybe it's not adding it to the list in the plugin with /whitelist add?
How can i make multiline in kick message? Colors support?
