How are your databases set up?
Is it locally hosted by the minecraft server? or is it hosted by a remote web host?
Do you use mysql for hawkeye and mcmmo, in my experience both of those are much more server heavy than webauction.
The most laggy part of webauction are the recent and shout signs. Using any of them?
the databases are setup Hawkeye is running on a local LAN mysql server Iconomy and WebAuction run on an external mysql server so that it may be hosted on my website grminecreft.org/auction. i did this for ease of setup.
not using recent and shout signs.
did some more testing today. This issue is an extremely high priority thing we need to get fixed. I tried disabling hawkeye and leaving everything else running with no difference in effects. Mcmmo was causing some chat lag so we left it disabled but web auction continues to kill the server's tick rate.
WebAuction on = 17.8 TPS WebAuction off = 20 TPS
Its the speed WA connects to external database, host WA on a local database and you will see the difference.
