War
War - Minecraft PVP Arenas (TDM, CTF & more!)

War lets you create warzones, arenas that host team deathmatch and capture-the-flag battles.
Features:
As a player, you get a fast-paced PVP experience in SMP.
- Join a battle by entering through the warzone lobby. There is one gate per team (team diamond, gold or iron): step in to join that team.
- Your inventory is saved when you join a battle, and restored when you exit.
- When you die inside a warzone, you get instantly teleported back to your spawn, and one life is taken from your team's life pool. When that pool runs out, the other teams score a point!
- Steal the enemy team flag to score for your team.
- Fight over monuments, control points that, when captured, restore health to your teammates.
- Return the cake home to score a point for your team and refill your life pool.
- Capture the bomb and run for your enemy's spawn to blow it up. Careful! If you get attacked at close range you'll blow up.
As a warzone maker, you have total control.
- Take advantage cool landscape features or existing player-build structures and incorporate them in new warzones.
- Tons of options: friendly-fire, auto-assign, turn off PVP outside warzones, define respawn loadouts specific to each zone, and more!
War lets you keep mayhem contained in the warzones.
- All the blocks in a zone are reset at the end of every battle.
- Players are prevented from entering or leaving a zone - except through the designated warzone lobby - by a magic glass wall.
- A warhub can be created to link all your zones together.
Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server.
These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.

This plugin uses Metrics to gather data. If you would like to opt-out, you may do so by editing plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true. It sends the information on this page to Hidendra's servers.
Keeping stats enabled allows the War team to find which features of War are most enjoyed by players so we can focus on improving certain areas of the plugin to make the experience of playing War the best it can be.

Is it possible to set warmakers to specific zones? I can only seem to set global makers.

Hey Team War. First of all thanks, for this Plugin.
I got a real simple question. Is there a possibility to add a new function?
I just want to have 1 Arena, and i would like to choose which game type should be active. With a sign or so.
That would be really great, 'cause so, my players could play every game in 1 arena. Because our arena is just amazing huge.

You dumb ungrateful piece of shit. If you took 3 seconds you would see that there are a ton of links up there with all the info you could ever use.
If you can't figure this out you shouldn't be running a sever.
Is there an API to request if some blocks are protected. I want to implement it in my cannons plugin because I have to break some blocks and it can destroy protected regions.

quick question - Anyway to allow PVP in side the spawn zones of each team. The issue is that people just stand in there so they can't be killed messing up games and causing tons of QQing

Cause there are some plugins like PVPGun, which i want them only to use while they are playing war inside the arena^^

Is this plugin as buggy as PVP arena? Does this plugin have leaderboards?
How can I make it so that there is no loadout when players join a Warzone? I want players to be able to bring in their own items for a custom game I am making.EDIT: Creating a ticket.

It restores any block if it's saved properly. I don't know if the signs will restore with their typing in it, though. That's what I want to find out.
If i build parts of the arena out of wool, and allow the players to use fireballs, will the arena properly rebuild if it is still on fire?
Hmm it pvp still doesnt work for me.

A bit of an annoying issue, is that war loadouts, and when your inventory is returned to you, empty spaces are ignored. This makes a mess of loadouts and your inventory. I would appreciate it, if you looked into this.

I just fixed it by Forcing another loadout by manually editing the config. For some reason now i can use /zonecfg correctly now though.
@Hellgamerz For the moment I only change the player's name color over their head. I could probably swap the display name for an empty string to allow people to have an invisible name. Only Spout will help with that though.
You can't disable the reset of the zone at game end and lifepool empty-events yet, but I'm working on making all resets togglable.

@KoBro12 Last team standing is a longstanding (pun intended) request that I have yet to address. Hang in there, better customization options are definitely on the roadmap. Thanks for your patience.
@xboxhacks Did you fix your people not being able to build? You can only remove the warhub completely. Toggling the door back to the warhub or even the presence of the warzone at the warhub is not possible at the moment.
@iPodnerd Warped saved spawn areas? That's bad. :( Care to elaborate please? Like, inverted/mirrored saved areas? Missing blocks? Thanks for the info!
@predawnia Don't worry about war.pvp and war.build. They only come into effect if you use the special War settings /warcfg pvpinzonesonly:true buildinzonesonly:true. When those settings are true, the permission war.pvp lets you override the setting and pvp in the world at large (useful to setup pvp worlds, but deny pvp outside zone in other worlds) and war.build becomes necessary to build outside zones.
If you leave both settings to false, other plugins shouldn't conflict.

@kcorb90 Yes areas that get clears by spawns, flag and other structures and a big problem. I've got to overhaul that subsystem in the next few releases.
@Jukkatibbs No. You need pvp to be on for War to work. Use the setting pvpinzonesonly:true and the war.pvp permission to control pvp on you server, if you can, as explained above.
@BoritoSC2 Try making an inner region that allows pvp inside your town region. War needs pvp to be on.
@MelonCraftServer Yes the inv-reset bug has been fixed in certain game-end situations but seems to still be present. Sorry to the inconvenience - this has been causing me a lot of pain to debug. Changes in Bukkit's internal workings made that bug suddenly appear with the 1.2 builds. I'm working hard to find ways to replicate and isolate those bugs. Please let me know if you have any insights into reproducible scenarios. Thanks a lot!
@crysis992 Try using the pvpinzonesonly:true War setting along with the war.pvp permission to control your world pvp settings (as explained in an above reply), if you can, because War needs pvp to be on.
