Overview
VoxelSniper is the premier long range map editing tool for Minecraft. This mod allows you to edit any block that you can see using an arrow (for replacing) and a gunpowder (for adding). It is best used by those with a strong attention to detail and fits a wide array of applications, from making detailed edits to structures with the snipe brush, to making massive terraforming jobs a breeze with some of the earth shattering soft selection tools.
Metrics
This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- The number of Snipers/LiteSnipers online
- The number of times Brushes are used
Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

I tried to use the version 7 with a 1.9.2 spigot server, and everything seems to work properly... Is it intented, is Spigot supported with the 7.x versions? Or am I going to get strange and nasty bugs later on...?

Version 5.170 works on bukkit 1.8, no changes were required.
where is the 1.8 version? I would like 1.8 version.
Thank you SOOO much for updating V5 for 1.9.2, All documentation and videos are based on V5 and was able to jump straight into making it work! We are over the moon we are able to use VS again with all the docs and videos already out there! Thank you.
I have searched the internet for an answer to this, there is too much old information out there, I hope I am not asking a repeat question. I am trying to use clay blocks in a build is there a way to get other colors to work other than white I have tried this sequence of commands and it fails to work with any block that has a variable in it, including stone. /b over, /v 159, /vi 14, it accepts the command but it produces white clay same with any block you want with a variable like sand 12:1, or stone 98:1, 98:2. Searched your wiki and every thing I try will not function. /v 159:14 not working either. I cannot find a list of Voxelsniper block id's (not minecraft id's)

Yeah... I (Deamon) can't actually update this right now as no one actually has access to the VoxelPlugineering account since the person supposed to be maintaining it forgot it...So until curse gets back to me I'm a little sol. But I'll make an official 1.9 release of version 5.171 as soon as I can.

I've patched the last VoxelSniper version to work with Spigot 1.9, appologies if its not allowed. Just wanted to get a stable version I can use until 1.7 comes out. If allowed here is the link for the patched version (based on v5)

Whats the permission nodes for voxelsniper 7? I can't get it working at all unless the users are all OP's.

Use VoxelSniper 5, VS 7 is still in development and not everything has been added yet.

Because async world edit is a world edit plugin. It's possible for logging plugins to hook into Gunsmiths' events when we get around to having that event system in place. Everyone on the team has been busy with the beta release of Sponge, so VoxelSniper has been on the back burner since.
Why can't voxelsniper work assync like worldedit (with the plugin) and why are there NO PLUGINS THAT LOG VOXELSNIPER AND CAN ROLL IT BACK!!

Version 7 snapshot doesn't load at all, version 5 gives internal errors when I use it (first I could use it but my friend couldn't, now we both can't).
Hi so i installed the latest build "VoxelSniper-7.1.0-SNAPSHOT-all.jar" but the permissions won't work only OPs have acces to commands
i'm using group manager what is the permission ? i tried "voxelsniper.*" but nothing works

The most recent Dev builds on Jenkins do not work at all on 1.8.8. I have tried all 3 .jar files and my server doesn't even try to load them, there aren't any error messages or indicators it is even trying to start. Running the latest Spigot 1.8.8.

Your version of CraftBukkit is older than what that version of VoxelSniper could use. There was an update to Bukkit API to get a player by UUID, and VoxelSniper updated to use that. Unfortunately, you'll have to use an older version of VoxelSniper for that specific version of CraftBukkit.
Just for reference: We're getting closer and closer to getting feature parity with VS5 in the new VS7, so if people are willing to try VS7 on 1.8 servers, please bug report on the GitHub.
