Vanilla
Vanilla - Config options to hide plugins from the plugin list and disable the version and plugin list commands
Features:
- Block use of /pl and /plugins (The plugin list command)
- Block use of /ver and /version (The version command)
- Hide plugins from the plugin list
- /vanilla command
- Full multilanguage support
With this plugin, you can fake a vanilla server by hiding the plugin list & version commands. You can also instead of doing that, hide specific plugins. For example if I want to hide MCBans & HawkEye, griefers would think the server cannot rollback changes and more importantly, they think they cannot get globally banned. Hiding the plugin from the plugin list makes it disappear completely. Even though it doesn't show, it will still function fully. Notice that Vanilla itself will not automatically be hidden unless you hide it from the plugins list. The console will still be able to use the commands & plugins will not be hidden from it.
Any chance you will add support for throwing my own fake plugins in?
So when a user /pl they will only see "Tunix's plugin package v3.2"
Thank You for this plugin and for keeping it up-to-date.
Since negating bukkit.command.plugins in bPerms2 doesn't seem to have any effect, i'm glad i found your plugin!
Thanks! :-)
I got this way back when, while it had about six downloads, but never got to thank you for this useful plugin. PluginList never seemed to hide plugins correctly on my server, but your plugin works wonderfully. Thank you so much.
@Switch0r
No. You will have to deny permission so your users cannot use it.
Is there a way to block /tell ?
Thanks for the plugin.
YES YES YES! Been WAITING FOR THIS to be 1.2.3 ready! Been using this plugin for EVER.
It simply keeps players from doing a /pl or /ver. Thats all. Very simple and works AWESOME.
Highly recommended.
@aviator1014
Your developer is wrong... Vanilla 0.1 AND 0.2 will NOT crash the server in any way by hiding plugins. Vanilla replaces the /plugins and /version command with it's own version and doesn't use a "hackish" method to do it.
@Flenix1
simply just don't give that permission to people
@niccholaspage I've enjoyed using this on 3 servers in the past, but one of my devs claims that hiding plugins makes servers crash. Hopefully your "full recode" changes his mind :)
Hey,
Would it be possible to hide other commands? For example the /whois (Essentials I believe) - I can't find any way of disabling it, and it shows things like location and IP which we don't want.
If another plugin already does it just let me know - I've not seen any :P
