UUID-Names
UUID-Names
* With this plugin you can lookup the previous player names of a player.
What is a UUID?
UUID stands for Universally Unique Identifier. As of Minecraft version 1.7.7, we now have to use UUID's to track players instead of their name, because in 1.8 Mojang is allowing players to change their names, meaning they have to use UUID's instead of a player's name, because their name will be able to be changed.
A UUID is a sequence of characters that are distinct to one player.(Like: lk035elo-ifk0-1p55-8r7p-l90bqk89023f)
How will this plugin help?
When players change their name you may not be able to recognize them. With this plugin the UUID of every player joining the server will be saved. And their current Player Name will be added to their UUID-List. As soon as that same account joins with another Player Name, their new Player Name will be added to their UUID-List.
Bottom line - With this plugin you can lookup the previous player names of a player.
